Theebs, buddy. Don't say that. When you give up, it really is over!

its the truth and its not about giving up. Its about the jones family talking a poor coaching staff and making it worse and making the offense even less effective with the insane playcalling setup.

Now we the fans have to pay the toll for this, last night Stephen jones said the team would get better because they are looking for an identity on offense. Think about that, the guy who is supposed to be a top level executive is citing
the fact that we need an offensive identity as a positive going forward....week 10 of the 7th season the guy in charge of the offense still doesn't have an identity....but he still has a job? why?

Stephen also cited Claiborne coming back and said he thinks lee might play against ny...

he is just doing what his dad does and he is now a marketing person.

this organization is about to bottom out. Once we hit January the slide off the ledge will be in full force.

There is not a single person in the building who knows how to build an organization.

This makes me feel like I felt when I watched the end of Braveheart the first time.

This season will end like most seasons with inferior coaching and tons of injuries.....with a whimper.

Just because a fan gives up with his team in first place with 6 to play, it doesn't mean we revoke his foam finger. He can keep it to pair with his foam backbone.

The ones who continue to tolerate Jerry and get sucked into his hype...those are the ones with foam backbones...and hollow heads.

I say that if we want to get into ridiculous this-type-of-fan-is-better-than-another. How about we don't?

Like I have felt all along, Dallas will finish 8-8 or 7-9 which may or may not be enough to win the East...that last game against Philly will most likely be win or go home...just glad it is in Dallas...

Ok, if you say so.

It's not about which 'types' of fans are better than others. I don't know how many ways I can find to keep saying that. Every Cowboys fan who posts on CZ is a die-hard, as far as I'm concerned.

It's just that fans have different ways of handling uncertainty and disappointment. Some like to insulate themselves against further disappointment early. Some like to assume they know what's coming. Some of us want to see how it plays out.

It's fair game to challenge fans who have completely given up on the season after 10 games with the team in contention, though.

If that is how you feel, then you may as well get used to it. Barring a sale of the team, you may as well expect the same result for the next thirty years. Admittedly, I do not know how old Stephen is and don't really feel like googling it. Maybe 40 years of this is in the near future.

Just think about it.

40 more years of this.

Really sit and reflect on that.

40. More. Years.

Say it aloud.

40. More. Years.

Just think a few weeks ago we were in first place and had sean lee running the defense, the giants were winless and had no middle linebacker.

Now we are not in first place and have Ernie Simms playing MLB, the giants will be on a four game winning streak and have Jon beason at MLB.

Awesome stuff. Just like watching will Allen intercept stafford late in the fourth qtr protecting a 3 point lead.....then Pitt threw the ball playing to win. Comical stuff.

I don't need instructions from you, thanks. I know the organization and the situation pretty well.

I am confused.

First, you say we are sliding off the ledge... and that the Jones family doesn't know how to build an organization. So I point out that we could be facing this for another 40 years, since Stephen may last another 40 years (completely guessing as I said before, I don't know his age).

And you are disagreeing?

So you think some sort of divine intervention will take place soon? Elaborate.

This season depends on the other teams in the Division. To me, their ceiling right now is 8-8 team, so they will need the other teams in the East to be worse than that to get into the playoffs.

Eagles just got their 6th win today.......................I think they win more than 2 of their remaining games....................looks like they are in the drivers seat now for the division if 8-8 is max for us.

Garrett had an epiphany while at an Austin Ice Cream shop and decided to emphasis the running game. Cowboys make the playoffs, catch lightening in a bottle and win out to claim their 6th Championship.

Make it to the playoffs At 9-7. BeatSan fran at home. Get revenge on New Orleans in there house by running the ball in the 2nd round and get blown out the water in Seattle in the nfc championship

You must be smoking the same thing Jerry's been smoking the past 17 years.

What's the point of the 'let that sink in' stuff. It's just marinating in frustration. The Steelers held Megatron in check. Let that sink in. The Eagles beat a bad Commanders team at home. Let that sink in.

I think we all knew going into the weekend that PHI might win this game. It's not really a concept we have to struggle with to understand. We get to play them again directly, so let's just see how it goes instead of trying to upset ourselves about other teams winning games during our bye week.
