How will Zimmer create a pass rush with Micah and Tank gone?

Without Tank, our best run defender and Micah who can chase Fields, the run defense is the biggest concern. Tomlin is not an "air it out" coach, if he can win this game on the ground, then that's what he will do and he will make this a physical game. The Cowboys will have to commit more resources to stop the run which will allow some big passing opportunities. The pass rush is negligible unless we force them into passing situations, otherwise they can pick and choose when to pass.

True, however, the alternative is to not blitz which gives the quarterback's receivers enough time to separate and connect on a big pass play.

At least the Cowboys won't have to worry about defending the run.

It helps that the Steelers OL is terrible.

Their oline is always terrible and the defense always awesome.

I called this horrible decision right from the start just like the Zeke decision, and both are going just about as poorly as I expected them too. I'm not psychic, I just have a memory and good pattern recognition skills.

When a DC sucks, and a RB is clearly washed up, they will never get better. Neither should be employed in the NFL.

With there not being much pass rush with these guys here, we now have them not here. In your mind you'll say "we need pass rushers", and you're right. With that said, how will we create a pass rush to get to the QB to hopefully get turnovers, and make big plays? We have some young guys that I feel could be helpful in bringing pressure if we draw up a nice scheme for them.

Is there anyway we could rush Overshown more or Marist Liaufau? Overshown is a bit small, but boy is he a heat seeking rocket!!!! We have a lot of safeties on this team, why not some safety blitzes or a CB blitz? Let's have fun with this, please give your thoughts!!

Did I miss something? Did we ever have a pass rush this year WITH those guys healthy? In order to lose something, we first have to HAVE IT. We aint losing much as far as pass rush goes. What we are losing is solid players and that will hurt. Not sure we can manufacture a pass rush all the sudden. We haven't really shown we can.
