Just look at the resources spent by the Chiefs and look at the Cowboys: Worthy (1st rd pick), Hopkins (Hall of famer), Brown (1st rd pick), Moore (2nd rd), Rice (2nd rd), Kelce (Hall of famer).

Cowboys: Lamb (1st), Cooks (1st), Tolbert (3rd), Mingo (3rd), Brooks (7th Rd), Turpin (Undrafted), Flornoy (6th rd), Ferguson (4th), Schoon (2md)

It's laughable to compare both positional groups. Cowboys have a ton have raw, developmental types and 1 aging receiver in Cooks.

Meanwhile the Saints of all teams scored on 6 or was it 7 straight possessions to open the game against Dallas this year . Detroit scored in the 40’s as well could have hung 60 easily the Ravens ran over Dallas then took the 4th quarter off the Packers led a playoff game 27-7 and were never challenged but certainly Jerry should keep collecting WR’s maybe even another TE….

No one is saying ignore the defense…we’re saying WR is a massive need in parallel to that.

We have a lot of big needs.

Not saying defense needs fixing, offense has holes as well

CBS Mock draft after the first 18 picks were set after the smoke cleared yesterday had the 49ers picking 11 taking Jalon Walker LB / Edge out of Georgia right in front of Dallas at 12 .

That’s the way this goes round after round John Lynch picks ahead of Dallas .

As a consolation prize CBS has Dallas grabbing Jihaad Campbell LB Alabama pick 12 . Overshown gone for now Liufau needs help .

I hope Jerry and McClay go all in for rebuilding this inadequate defense and shy away from shiny offensive gadgets .

I would love Campbell in the 2nd Rd,he is a thumper but no way is he going in the first RD..

I saw other scouting services had him as a 2nd . Overshown will be missed . The Cowboys need help plus Kendrick’s is a question mark to return . I could see LB with Edge ability pick 12

I'm not a big fan of any of the potential day 1 linebackers. Feel like Walker is a hybrid, which is a bit of a luxury as we have Parsons who is mainly edge but could be off ball too.

Feel like day 1 we should have a good chance at a top DL, especially DT like Harmon

People might scream at a safety but his teammate Malaki Starks would cover safety for the Cowboys for yrs to come as just the the kind of playmaker the last line of defense now lacks .

Coming away with Walker and Starks
In this draft plus a complementary back to Dowdle like a Dylan Sampson would be a haul .
I would prefer Starks over Walker only because he's more likely to play through a second contract, whereas linebackers are subject to a shorter shelf life. However, unless we make some deals, there's no way to get both, because both will be off the board in the first round.

Your right . Mark Sanchez on the Cowboys vs DC broadcast spoke glowingly about Hooker I was thinking you missed the other 16 games Mark , Starks and to be honest a replacement for Donovan Wilson as well is in order .

Real quick - Jalon Walker is a OLB/DE no different from Micah Parsons, this guy is not an off ball LB.
Campbell LB from Bama is not my type of Backer too much wrestling on tackles and grabbing shoulder pads on tackles.
