How would you feel if Stephen Jones did this?

It's the third round and Conley is still available because of the rape allegations that just came out. With the 92nd pick in the 2017 NFL draft the Dallas Cowboys select, Gareon Conley. The draft night finishes and after all the talk, backlash, rants and so forth Stephen Jones is at the podium to discuss the draft. When asked about Conley he comes out and says this:

"We made this pick knowing what we don't know. We all remember what happened a few years ago with Lael Collins. This can go one of two ways, it's that simple. If he is found or we believe he is to have been found guilty we will simply cut him. If not and his name is cleared then he will be welcomed to our football team. Before this allegation he was labeled a good kid, a high character person. A team leader. This is nothing more than a poker play. If we hit we hit and if we miss we miss. Thank you, no further questions."

When exactly did we become so good that we can just piss away 3rd rounders like they are skittles?

3rd rounders are supposed to be future starters, not gambling chips.

You want to piss a pick away, do it in the 6th or 7th, not the freaking 3rd round.....................this would be beyond stupid

I'm not saying he's guilty or innocent, I have no inside knowledge, none of us do. All I'm saying is that multiple front offices (who knows the exact number) are willing to give up a 3rd for him. And I'm sure they know a lot more about the situation than we do. No team would be blindly giving up a 3rd for an alleged rapist. They have to feel pretty optimistic about his case. That's what lead me to say as long as the team does it's due diligence and feel he's innocent, I'm fine with it.

They would have to have concrete proof of innocence.........if they do, I would have no problem with them drafting him.

I don't know but I am a gambling man. Hard to pass that talent up for circumstantial evidence. If it was overwhelming, I imagine he would be in jail by now.

If our guys think he is innocent, grab him!
