Um...

What I'm talking about is the fact that the center is the one responsible for alerting all the other players as to where the blitzers are coming from. The Cowboys constantly failed to pick up the blitz this year.

And if you didn't notice that Gurode's shotgun snaps are an adventure, you must have blinders on.

The center makes line calls based off of the presnap defensive alignment. That doesn't mean he knows where the blitzers are coming from. We're getting in trouble because of the movement of the defense after the snap. It's not Gurode's fault.

The lollipop shotgun snaps aren't the problem, either.

it goes beyond the Oline to Garrett's scheme

he has them blocking for too long

did you say blocking too long... if your an offensive lineman or even a back thats gotta block your supposed to keep that block as long as possible without getting flagged, there is no such thing as "Blocking too long".

The problem, to me, is this:
With Kosier gone, this left Flozell one-on-one with a bad hand to boot. He's never been that smart a player anyway (see: false starts),
With Kosier gone, Gurode had to help out Proctor making Davis play one-on-one.
Davis can't do it alone, as you could see when he was with the Cardinals. The move to guard helped him tremendously.
Columbo didn't bother me too much.

I agree that the o-line's run blocking was not very good but how much of their issues in the passing game had to do with our receivers not getting open/running precise routes that would allow TR to get rid of the ball????
