Hue Jackson: Browns need 'to go get' QB with No. 2 pick in draft

I lean that way as well. Bigger arm in a cold climate, outdoor stadium. Also a bigger guy to deal with the tough, hard nose defenses in that division. He also has as much upside as any QB since Luck. Before the bowl games were played Lynch was the top QB for most people. Now that one game has changed a lot of peoples mind, or at least it seems that way.

And that would be a mistake.

You can't judge any player on one game alone.

Lynch won 22 games in three years with Memphis.

In the six years before Lynch started Memphis won 22 games in total.

That says more to me about Lynch than that one bowl game.

I hope so . Don't want him at all.

I just don't get why.

You have a incredible talent like this and you hope we don't get him?

I was afraid of teams would catch on quick as soon as I saw him play. Now he may be the top QB taken and it doesn't surprise me because his upside is better than all of them.

Lynch would be a better pick for them

For Cleveland? No.

They need someone they can throw in as soon as possible. Maybe not this year, but definitely 2017.

McCown can be the placeholder for this year or as long as he stays healthy.

Lynch needs a lot more work than Goff. If you asked him to play in a game tomorrow, it would probably look a lot like when he played Auburn.

Goff would be the best choice for them in all honesty.

Long term, Lynch could be the best of them all. But from what I have read suggested, most say he definitely needs to sit.

some scouts like Wentz more then Lynch, I dont know

It is a little crazy how fast things have changed, but a lot of the draft people on Twitter are suggesting that all along Wentz has been underrated publicly and is now and pretty much has been at the top of a lot of teams boards.

Read one that suggested "a team, and not Cleveland" is really smitten and willing to move up over Dallas. Could be Chip Kelly, who knows.

Chip Kelly isn't taking a QB in the first round. He has his QB. In his mind.

And all of this talk of teams jumping ahead of the Cowboys is irrelevant. It's on the Cowboys to prioritize getting their QB and doing what they have to do to get that guy. We can beat any offer they make, if need be.

I do not believe for a second we are that aggressive enough to do that for a quarterback. They are talking a little about it, I doubt they are that committed, being Romo has five years left and all.

Stephen on the Monday after the draft: "At the end of the day, we just discussed it and all agreed the price was just too rich."
