FWIW... Jimmy Johnson is on 105.3 right now and he says the board is fine and doesn't need to be moved. Thinks the Titans punter hit it on purpose and more punters won't do that in the future because it'll only tire out the coverage team.

BTW, hope they podcast this. Pretty good (and rare) to hear from Jimmy.

Wow, didn't even see speed had posted that about Jimmy on Mike and Mike. Guess JJ's making the rounds for his Crown Royal campaign. He's in town filming a spot for them at the stadium today.
Maybe Jerry is paying him.;)

You know, Jerry ought to make a commercial that incorporates something hitting the board to be shown after this issue is resolved.

It could be a Red Bull commercial and when the person starts lifting off JJ could yell "Don't hit the board. We'll have to re-do the commercial!"

I'm sure they could come up with something a whole lot better, and it would be another money maker for JJ.

You need to submit that storyboard idea to the Red Bull manufacturer yourself and keep most of the royalties yourself. That's a great idea for a commercial...

I am with the don't move it crowd.

Just a little home field advantage because McBriar gets to have more practice on punting around it or avoiding it but I don't think there is a punter in the NFL that cannot adjust his kicks in a manner to avoid the thing. A few more directional kicks in Cowboys Stadium than anywhere else - so what.

All teams are going to tell their punter to make sure he does not hit it because nobody want to do over a punt because too much can go wrong. Blocked punt for example.
