Eagles are gambling if he really isn't ready to go.

Sirianni is stuck between a rock and a hard place. If Jalen Hurts ends up suffering further injury against the Giants which causes him to be out for the entire course of the playoffs, then Sirianni will be lambasted for rushing Hurts back. But if they play Minshew and lose their 3rd game in a row with him, then all of the good will Sirianni built with the Eagles fanbase this season will quickly be erased. And there's going to be a lot of Philly fans furious with him, especially if they lose the division to the Cowboys and fall to the 5th seed or lose the number one seed.

They have been backed into a corner and have no choice but to play Hurts. As they figure a still injured Hurts gives them a better chance than a 100 percent Minshew.

Eagles aren't taking any chances, Hurts is playing. My opinion, I think they can win with Minshew even if the Giants played their starters. That Giants defense is not like the Saints.

The bad news for the Eagles is that Hurts has a chance of reaggravating that injury.

Trust me I am not one of those fans. You are right though. The Giants won't play their starters very much. I was just speaking in general terms, knowing that it won't be that outcome.

I wouldn't say this about any other team, but I hate the Eagles fiercely. I hope he plays and the Giants body slam that shoulder 5 or 6 times so that he can't throw the ball straight in the playoffs. Nothing but picks and incompletes.
