Which back up QB out there is an outstanding QB? Neither Johnson or Bollinger are outstanding QBs. Young just may not be a good QB, but if you are basing it on being "outstanding" then a majority of guys don't qualify. Young is not getting cut, so it doesn't matter.

No. I loved Young in college but this is not college ball.

I'll go against the grain and say yes, we should. With our O-line and weapons to hand off and throw to, he wouldn't stand out as much. He could definitely be a decent backup.

They won't cut him though.

The Titans aren't about to cut Vince... they have WAAAAAY too much invested in him... it would require a SERIOUS cap hit...

I dont' agree with those who believe that Young is not a QB in the NFL. He's never going to be a traditional QB but when he's healthy and his mind is right, nobody can deny the fact that he wins football games. I agree with the majority that say Tennessee will not cut him. However, I would not sign him if I were the Cowboys only because I don't believe he fits our offense but there are plenty of teams out there where he could play and would play IMO.

It's not that he isnt a traditional QB, it's that he can't hit the broadside of a barn with the football. Dude couldnt throw a beach ball in the pacific ocean.

This isn't even a good hypothetical since there is no chance that Vince Young is ever getting cut any time soon.

And, even if he did, I doubt he'd be coming to play second fiddle in Dallas.
