Don't agree with this at all.

I don't know how anyone could disagree. He shows no burst anymore and is no longer a receiving threat which is step #1 of a running backs downfall. He's on a bad team but he's been on bad teams before where he could at least create for himself.

I would rather we make a Play for babin. We are desperate at end.

a halfway decent qb last night would have lit us up again, thankfully we didn't play one.

I can't imagine jax wouldn't deal babin for a 5 or even a four. He could actually help us immediately and allow ware to rest a few weeks so he can be ready post turkey day.

Maybe but what would your burst look like playing on that team all these years:) It would be because he is a vet and always Blocks well i have seen him light up some LB in his time and i don't want Romo with cracked or sore ribs the rest of the year. If we keep Romo healthy we still have a chance at doing something but if Romo get hurt this team is done.

And to say he shows no burst is not true. Is he what he was 3 years ago? Of course not but he is still an effective running back who can you know help protect our QB when dropping back to pass. You don't need him to come in and rush for 100 yards a game. It would be nice but not needed. He's still effective. And oh yeah he plays on the worst team in the NFL. So he isn't going to look very good most of the time anyway playing for that team.

I don't see this having any real shot of happening.

They'll ride and die with the young guys they have and I'm ok with that. It's why you drafted/signed them.

We don't have a week - Eagles coming up Sunday at noon. Not a good game for a tryout with 1st place in the NFC East on the table.

realistically, if we added MJD right now, it would be a long shot for him to be able to contribute much this sunday.

No, no, no and hell no.

the goal right now is cheap and able to block.
the running and catching is just a bonus.

MJD makes 5m in base this year so is out of the price range.
We can however do a vet min move at RB.

I wasn't referring to MJD.

Yea, lets wing away picks for guys who arent long term, DO IT JERRY, get those guys with picks so we can win a few more games this season, WOO HOO, Any player, just wing those picks like hot cakes. Who needs em.

One could easily make the argument that the next two years are our best shot at the Super Bowl.
