Murray has a MCL sprain. Jacksonville has made it known that MJD can be had for a 5th/6th rounder. Given the circumstance they'll want the 5th, I say we give it to them. Make the call, Jerry.

No way should we consider that. He still isn't healthy for starters? Not sure.

Dallas needs to save that cap room for possible DL acquisitions. It is getting frighteningly thin :(

Those contracts would only be for the minimum, no real effect on the cap. We need a RB and MJD proved today he can still play. Jacksonville has the worst Oline in the league with losing Joeckel & trading Monroe (Raiders 2nd)

In the morning JJ will make the announcement that we are fine at RB, and that the DL is a strength of the team..

The Dl pulled it out tho, so hes still not completely wrong. I still like the Fred pick, the Escobar pick stil has my head scratching, there we could have gotten a DL.

I love Fred, but we could have had both Sharif and him, if we played it right.

Any idea on what the vet minimum would be that counts towards our cap? I thought I saw around 2.5 million or so and not sure how much cap room is left ATM.

Thought I saw somewhere 4.5-6 million range for cap space. We'd have to get Jville to eat some of MJD's cap unless we could trade Miles straight up for him (Cecil Shorts went out with Fractured ribs today)

the question at RB w/ Dunbar-Randle-Tanner is QB protection. Can these guys protect Romo?

Dallas has PHI, DET, MIN, NO coming up before the bye. Can they keep Romo protected with those guys? If not, you're not necessarily trading for running output, you're trading to keep your QB upright

lol how is it closing? Next man up mentality & if you have the coaches, you find new talent that can play in the system.

Romo is 33. Witten is 32 (or 31?), Ware isn't old, but his body sure acts like it, Ratliff is all but gone, Spencer all but gone, Hatcher is 31, etc...

All the core of the team is in their 30's with the exception of a couple of players. THAT is the window closing.

I disagree that the window is closing. We have guys like Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Carr, Claiborne, Dez, Williams, Harris, Beasley and Murray. Tons of young talent.

Mjd for a 6 is a go. Murray is too fragile and don't we have other late round picks next draft.

That's only 10 less tackles and 3 less sacks than Ware. Just sayin
