Hypothetical trade. What would you do?

Hypothetical. "What if". Please, don't take this seriously. It's just something different than the 52 threads that are bickering.

Seattle offers Richard Sherman for Dez Bryant, straight up. Pete Carroll trusts his system and needs a threat on offense.

Do you do it?

No

I would never trade an impact skill player for a CB.

Assuming the Cowboys and Dez are nowhere near an agreement on a long-term deal, would you trade Dez Bryant to Oakland for:

the 4th pick overall
Khalil Mack LB
a 2016 2nd round pick

Nice Madden trade. It would never happen though.

This is no different than the other 52 idiotic threads

Before you could ev..........Yes!!!!!!

I would then trade the 4th to Eagles for a haul so they could draft Mariota

No. Dez will win more games than Sherman does

Yep, I would. Amari Cooper/Kevin White, a really good LB, and 2 seconds next year. Sign me up.

I see it more as Mack and Dante Fowler, which allows us to go DGB at #27 and Coleman or Johnson at #60.

Nope.

I'm really surprised by the responses. I figured several of you would have done it.

For the record, there's no way in hell I'd trade Dez for anyone.

No hesitation.
But also no chance they'd make an offer like that.
In fact, I think that is almost double what they would pay.

Yes. In an instant.

As for the original proposal, I wouldn't trade Dez Bryant for two Richard Shermans.

I don't. Dez Bryant is a superstar just entering his prime. You'd have to give up something substantial to get him.

Not even a consideration. Bryant is a generational talent at WR. Sherman is a very good player, but with this defensive line rushing the passer, I don't think he would perform as well as he does in Seattle.

While I would not trade Dez for Sherman, I do think the list of WRs either better or comparable to Dez is longer than the list of CBs better or comparable to Sherman.

You could have Deion back there and he wouldn't be able to contain a guy for 5-7 seconds because we don't have a pass rush. Build the defense inside out.

Not that I would do it, but the Seattle defense just rushes four basically. Their first string cover guys are that good.
