I don’t know about you guys but I am really glad to see Hill’s roster spot finally open up. It at least gives the team a chance to use it on a player who brings something to the table.

Dude didn't have the mindset for defense,,, they should have switched him over to the OL somewhere,,, like center! Still PO'd about the genius OL coach shipping off a perfectly viable OL to Miami without even considering him at center.

This team just gave up the most rushing yards that it has surrendered in nearly three years and decided that waiving the guy who watched it in street clothes and had no part in it was a good scapegoat.. Go figure.

You said he might have mouthed off because he's immature in the other thread. Now he's being scapegoated for a game he didn't play in. Might just be he's lowest on the totem pole in their eyes. Let him go bud.

All the moves being made by teams striving to improve their rosters is mind-blowing when compared to Jerry and Stephen sitting all content with their thumbs up their butts doing nothing. Jerry said not all that long ago that his goal is to remain relevant and interesting, and he's certainly doing just that. Some teams want to compete for championships, Jerry doesn't.

I guess he could have been depth in case of injury, but honestly don’t
remember the last game I saw him in, and I have seen them all.

Okay Ronnie, I'll go figure.

He was in street clothes because he couldn't cut the mustard, They kept him in street clothes because they didn't want to have him play, and maybe get hurt. Because he could have been a chip in a trade, however small that might be.

He was not the answer to the problem.

How'd I do, my friend?

Denver will take him off waivers. They love our leftover defensive linemen for some reason (Lett, Ekuban etc...)

The Cowboys would be better off putting up a fan poll to pick their 2nd round guy (if he is still there when they pick) at this point. As dumb as Cowboys fans are, I am thinking they'd do a better job overall....

I remember when being a 3rd round pick or higher was an automatic when it. Ame to making the team.

It's good to know that player's are being g kept or cut depending entirely on merit.

It's not that Hill is a terrible player, I'm sure he gets picked up quick. The Cowboys DC wants players that fit specific schemes and apparently Bohanna fits.

I’m thinking that it was the multiple years of bringing zero to the table that did Hill in. But I guess your theory is plausible.

Maybe we will cut Dak and Martin as scapegoats next week. You know, since we need scapegoats and all.

It seems pretty clear to me that they were trying to move Hill or Gallimore. When they couldn't, they cut the one that Quinn wasn't as invested in.

Pretty much. Think he was in the dog house like he's been since we drafted him anyways and they just want to replace his salary with Tank Harrisons/Carlos Watkins.

I'm just pissed about drafting him to begin with, but your point is valid. As many of yours usually are. 1 of the last Marinelli guys other than LVE, Jourdan Lewis and Brown. MM likes Brown and Lewis though.

I'm still trying to make sense of this move in the mid-season. I was surprised when Hill made the 53 and even more surprised they decided to retain Hill over Ridgeway.
I'm more furious now at Dan Quinn for having given the green light to cut 6'5", 330 pound rookie John Ridgeway who could have been kept and molded for a much smaller and way overdrafted Trysten "babycakes" Hill. WTH was Dan Quinn thinking? His decisions just left a bigger hole at DT during the midst of having 3 games in a row where our D repeatedly has been getting run on right up the middle.
