I am sick and tired of hearing/reading about the Eagles

Personally, I could not care less about comments made about 29 teams, including the Eagles.

That said, I can be... immature... about things said about the 49ers, Steelers, and especially, Washington.

Busted. :(

But I cannot stand those three teams, so there! How do you like that, you big meanie!

I hear ya man. I couldn't stand the 70s Steelers or the 80s 49ers for the longest time.
I guess as I've gotten older I just kinda respect opponent accomplishments rather than hate on them.
The 20 years of Belicheck/Brady dominance.

Heck, even coach Tomlin's never having a losing season in like 17 straight years now in Pittsburgh.
Doesn't mean I'm any less a Cowboys fan. I just choose to acknowledge success of the other teams.

And you definitely weren't the one to whom I was referring, lol.

Eagles suck. This is the 4th day you are arguing this. It won’t change. They suck. Cowboys are terrible. No **** Sherlock….both can be true. Cowboys are not the bar for a good football team. I say Eagles suck and the first defense on a Cowboys board is they are better than the Cowboys. I blame Jerry for the fans acting like this.
The first time we have agreed.

I havent always been this way. In fact. I would argue to the death like you are now that the Eagles will never be better than the Cowboys. Unfortunately seeing Jerry and this FO operate the last 5-10 years has sucked that die hard passion out of me.

I get it. I can't deny that. It's Jerry's fault fans think like this. He's killed it for a lot of fans.

The Eagles had their hands full with the Panthers on Sunday.
Two weeks ago the Chiefs only managed to beat the Panthers by 3 as well. Sometimes teams start to put it together, plus, they are playing with little to no expectations. Panthers went for it repeatedly on 4th down, and made many a miraculous play or it would have been an Eagles blowout. That their receiver couldn't hold on to a potentially game winning catch is just the probabilities catching up with them.

LOL. The Lions and San Fran?

Another 2 teams that have LAPPED us repeatedly in the last 3 decades since Jimmy's team disbanded.

Id kill to have any FO that has to be accountable.
The Lions ‘have LAPPED us repeatedly in the last 3 decades’? Many of those years the Lions have been HORRID, finishing below .500 a whopping nineteen times. Over the same stretch the Cowboys have finished below .500 a mere eight times.

The Lions sure look good now - but I wouldn’t trade our last thirty years for theirs.

Why not?

Have we gotten as far as them in the last 30 years?

The Detroit lions went to a NFCCG before us in the last 30 years.

If that isnt being LAPPED I dont know what is.

Barkley is a clear important key in how far the Eagles go in the postseason. But no matter how great he has been this season or how talented the Eagles are as a roster, the full potential of their success falls on Jalen Hurts. He may not have to throw for a massive amount of yards and TDs for the Eagles to win in the playoffs. But he'll have to play better than he has been in the last few weeks. Because the Eagles can't risk being too one dimensional and having the offense entirely depend on Barkley.

This is probably why AJ Brown is frustrated as he knows Hurts can't be missing wide open WRs in the playoffs and always think that Barkley or the defense will bail the Eagles out of games in which Hurts doesn't play well.

The Eagles will need to get off to faster starts in the first half and get better play from Hurts in order to win the NFC. Or they run the risk of facing a team in the playoffs who is able to in one way or the other shut down Barkley or make the Eagles abandon their run game.

Because their fans went through TWICE as many losing seasons as we did?

So, is that the blueprint to beat Philly? With a little more talent on the roster than the Panthers, would that propel the Cowboys to a victory?

It seems like the recipe for slowing down Philly is coming into form. You gotta stop Barkley at all costs. He ran for over 100 yesterday but he didn't have a bunch of big runs. The Eagles passing game is still off so load up and stop Barkley and make Hurts beat you.

KC is built to beat them. Green Bay is pretty good against the run. Vikings as well but I don't trust their offense. They have an interesting matchup with the Steelers this week who is also pretty good defensively.

We have crappy DTs and are without Lawrence, our best run stopping DE.

We can't beat them unless Rush plays like Tom Brady.
