I am sick and tired of hearing/reading about the Eagles

Offense
YPG 4th
PPG 7th
Rushing 1st
Passing 28th

Defense
YPG 1st
PPG 4th
Rushing 7th
Passing 3rd

Hurts is a game manager but if he makes the plays when needed and doesn’t turn the ball over who cares?
Defense is the bigger story, most were expecting middle of the pack at best, not top 3.

I'm a Cowboys fan....IT SAYS IT RIGHT THERE IN MY NAME FOR CHRISTMAS SAKE....

Also....the the Knicks aren't winning the NBA Championship this year.

BOOK IT!!!!!!!!!!!@!
Indeed. I thought your name was a parody of folks who only like popular teams. I'll make note that you are sincere.

I'm not sure anyone has the Knicks winning the NBA championship this year.

Jalen hurts is not in the mvp discussion

Without Saquon that team is 3-9
Too much talent to be 3-9.
Top 5 OLine
Top 5 DLine
Top 3 secondary
#1 rated D
Top 3 WR duo
Top 10 TE
A QB who isnt turning the ball over.
I mean the Panthers backup RB had 1200 yards rushing for Philly.

I disagree with your post

If Tucker doesn’t miss a field goal, Eagles lose. They’re only as good as they are running game. Any decent line can beat them
Not true necessarily. They were milking the clock the last 10 minutes who is to say the don't score. Baltimore was down 12 with 30 seconds left. Two FGs are 6 points

Better get use to hearing about Philly. If Barkley stays healthy they’re a strong SB contender. Philly and Detroit are the class of the NFC. Possibly the two best teams in the entire league.

Still in here unable to admit that they have run laps around this franchise for years.
They have. Their one SB ring in 80 years….running laps around he congrats on your success.

This place is funny. If I say Dak sucks not a peep. If I say Philly sucks I get notifications from people troubled by it. Fans getting soft.

The final score was 19 to 24. Even the two field goals Baltimore wins never mind the missed extra point.

Doesn't work that way. There is no way the Eagles let them march down the field with a few seconds left in the game if the game was only a 2 point game or so.
I don’t know what you mean, Baltimore doesn’t miss those two field goals. They’re ahead. The score was 19 to 24.

Tucker missed the two field goals in the third quarter! Wasn’t as if he missed a chippy on in the final seconds to lose.

The point StarOfGlory is trying to make is that if Tucker makes those kicks, the complexity of the game has entirely changed and the Eagles don’t play the 4th qtr. the same way. They wouldn’t - they’d be in a different position.

You can’t assume 2 makes by Tucker assures a win. Not by a long shot.

Am I the only one seeing the irony of this thread?

At least in the 70's, 80's or even 90's, if you hated a rival in the NFL as a fan, you didn't have so many people to commiserate with online? :lmao:

Further proof of what a really real GM can do.
Yep. And I see Cowboys fans here downplay since they have only won 1 ring in the GM's era. While Dallas has not even sniffed a Super Bowl appearance. It's very hard to win in the NFL if you don't have a HOF QB like Brady, Mahomes. Add in Peyton Manning and Ben R. These 4 guys have won seemingly half the Super Bowls since the turn of the century and appeared in most the others they didn't win. Eagles are now on their 2nd QB and completely rehauled the roster from their 1st Super Bowl appearance. Eagles recognize their weakness and execute a plan to address that. Adding Barkley was significant for them. This takes a ton of pressure of Hurts, who still isn't a great QB. At any given play, he can score a TD. Eagles never had this before this year.

They also use free agency, trades and drafting very well. We do none of this. Hurts in 2020 had really no WRs. They went out and got Davante Smith in the draft and traded for AJ Brown. Boom, 2 legit threats. They traded above us to get Goeddert, which we wanted.

Man, back in the day, when the eagles had never won a SB and were the Cowboys little step children. Now, the Cowboys are the little kids on the block. How times have changed, and our HOF GM helped it change.
Jerry and Stephen's ego are the reason Dallas has been spinning their wheels for almost 30 years with no end in sight. Detroit of all teams have even passed Dallas in terms of recent success. Now, it's only Dallas and Washington in the NFC with the longest NFC championship droughts. Heck, Detroit looks to be going to back to back after not going for over 30 years. They have built a great foundation from top to bottom.

It's pathetic in a conference full of parody, you can't even luck into one single appearance. This isn't the AFC where if you don't have Brady, Mahomes, Ben R or Manning, your changes are slim to none. The NFC has seen a plethora of different QBs make it.

What makes you think Baltimore would’ve played the same way. Missing those field goals was everything. You left points on the field. That’s why they lost. Not because the Eagles were better.

Nothing makes me think Baltimore would’ve played the same way and thank you for proving my point. There were two teams playing. Do you think Philly wasn’t capable of playing differently either? Plans changed on both sides and an outcome with Tucker making 3rd quarter kicks won’t be known.

If Baltimore was better they wouldn’t have even been trying long field goals. Why did their offense cool down? Why couldn’t they stop Philly running the ball late in the game when they knew it was coming. If they were the better team they would have taken care of business.

Sorry, but games aren’t decided by “ifs, could have’s, and would have’s” - particularly when you had more than 15 mins. to right the wrongs.

You’re reminding me of people that guarantee the Cowboys would have won if Jackie Smith wouldn’t have dropped the ball and if Dez Bryant’s attempted catch was ruled complete.

If you’re the better team on a given day the scoreboard reflects it.

Eagle this, Eagle that.......shut up! (lol)

I remember the year the Eagles drafted that guy, and some on here mocked the pick because he had an incident in college where another player died? Car crash racing or something? He was a consensus 1 pick but slid to 10 something right to the Eagles. Last year the best dB's on the board slid right to them in each round of the first 2. They have had a string of luck. But here we are talking about the Eagles again. I think they have the youngest team in the NFL? If the team defense. I heard that last week and couldn't believe it.
