I am sick of fans, commentators, etc. saying we don’t have enough offensive weapons

Aiyuk had 1000+ yds this year, so he's definitely better than our #2 WR. The thing that jumps out about the teams still left is that they have better "teams" surrounding their QBs. Dak is inconsistent, but I don't think Hurts and Purdy are necessarily better than Dak, but they have done a better job of building teams around them. Niners don't throw a lot of deep balls, but their players excel in the short and intermediate routes and running game for RAC. Eagles are built around Hurts running ability and running game to take deep shots. Their offenses are built to take pressure off the QBs, not carry the team.

I was disappointed too, Davis should really have gotten more chances.
Drop the mic, dude. On point.

You had good enough during the regular season until you had to face the #1 defense in the NFL with those weapons. You had Lamb and Pollard. Pollard had his leg broken by Ward using a Hip Drop.
here, I fixed that for you. :)

It's ridiculous, people want 5 all pros on the oline, all pro receivers and tight end, all pro running backs, and an offensive genius calling plays so we can finally get to a championship game. Lol
The 90s Cowboys were exactly this. It took them a couple of years to build the roster through the draft and shrewd management (ie. Hershel Walker trade).

Dak needs hall of fame offensive line, Hall of fame WR's and RB's. Don't ever ask him to actually show why his contract is justified because he will never prove it.

Piled up 40 against Philly . And again the OL was healthy Pollard was healthy and to minimize Lamb Schultz and the other WR’s. It’s a disservice to the fan to say the offense is outclassed .

# 4 needs to perform at a higher level when your opposition throws out Brock Purdy .
We did, and same against TB. Dak played at an elite level in both games.

Do we want to set that as the bar and put everything on him playing perfect every game knowing he isn’t elite?

No. We don’t because he isn’t elite. He’s an above average QB that needs help to go all the way…just like Stafford did. No legit contender in football is asking their QB to elevate their team and win by themselves without weapons.

YOU DID’NT ANSWER THE QUESTION EITHER!
Who is this “smart” qb you’re gonna replace Dak with??
Where are you going to get him??
Just like the other fans that want to throw Prescott out the back door immediately.
A PLAN WITH STEP 1
That’s It ??!!
No step 2 or 3 or
JUST FIRE PRESCOTT!!
We’re Better With NO QB than with Prescott
YOUR KIDDING RIGHT!!
The Dude Just Took Us Within 2 Games Of The Super Bowl With 75% Crap Players Around Him!!!
IN A SEASON THAT HE BROKE HIS DAMN THROWING THUMB!!!!!
AND NOW HAS A METAL PLATE IN IT!!!!
WHO DO YOU THINK YOUR GONNA FIND TO MATCH THAT IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS??!!!!

You still didn’t answer the question…..
Who is he?
Where is he?
(Sorry for the delayed response)
Must be a trick question or you think more highly of Dak than a lot. The draft and FA are a great place to start. It won’t take much as my first reply implies that you apparently can’t read into.

75% crap players! lmao. Talk about ridiculous! Keep making excuses. We’re stuck with the contract, so there are no options. Be nice if the team planned for his eventual departure. Draft someone early to apply some pressure cause this guy will never win a championship.

They say this because it's true.

Once Tony Pollard went down at SF all the Cowboys had was CeeDee Lamb. After that there was a broken down Zeke, a one legged Michael Gallup, a thirty something year old TY Hilton, and Noah Brown. Oh and I don't think anybody is mistaking Dalton Schultz for Travis Kelce or George Kittle either.

Now look at the weapons Jalen Hurts has for example.

1000%…and even having TP pre injury wasn’t enough.

Yes, Dak lacks the weapons that Hurts has, but Dak's best weapon that day in SF was his Defense. Dak, whether on his own or because of his coaches, had to shoulder a heavy load that he couldn't carry on that Sunday. The most important thing he had to do was NOT turn the ball over, and with that assignment he falied.

I'm on record as saying we can win with Dak, but he's taking up a significant chunk of cap space. This is why most teams find real success when they have their QBs on the rookie deal. The Bengals are loaded with Burrow, Higgins and Chase, but they're all on rookie deals. I think Dallas needs to build up the Defense even more to help carry the team, and hopefully with the coaching change Dak's responsibilities game to game can be better managed so he's not put into a position to feel like he has to carry the team.

Yup, Dak had a clunker…but those games have been more so the exception and not the norm over his career.

And the cap is just a big roadblock - yes, easier with rookie QB but if a team wants to make moves they can make it happen…the Jones are just too stubborn to do it.

Now he has no weapons where was that excuse last year? If people don’t want to recognize the asinine decisions by the QB that’s on them. There were times when players were open and Dak is either hanging on to the ball too long, off target or not even looking or throwing into double or triple coverage. He doesn’t make smart decisions and the accuracy is a problem! And the good games will never outweigh that at the end of the day.

And people love to brag about being “top 10”. I guess that same stat means nothing at TE. lol
