I am sick of fans, commentators, etc. saying we don’t have enough offensive weapons

Lamb Schultz Pollard you have Gallup Ferguson you bring in Hilton , Brown reliable outlet . What the heck Mahomes lost Hill off-season and his running back is a 7th rounder from Rutgers . Plus he’s gimping through a Conf championship on a bum ankle .

Does 40 million per year not help the Pokes get past The last draft pick in 2022 .

It's ridiculous, people want 5 all pros on the oline, all pro receivers and tight end, all pro running backs, and an offensive genius calling plays so we can finally get to a championship game. Lol
Yeah it's got to be a perfect world around Dak!

It's just the latest excuse. Now the whole team sucks. #1 offense in football when it suits the argument to "no weapons" come playoff time. o_O

Ok...other than Ceedee as a slot guy, what skill position starts for Philly.

Here’s what Mahomes has:

- OL with #1 pass block win rate in NFL
- 1st ballot HOF TE (Kelce is his WR1)
- 1st rounder, 2 2nd rounders and a solid FA in MVS at WR
- HOf head coach

Gallup would not have even played for the Chiefs this year and he was our #2.The Chiefs had arguably the worst weapons in the final 4 of the playoffs and they still had more than us by a landslide.

Now he has no weapons where was that excuse last year? If people don’t want to recognize the asinine decisions by the QB that’s on them. There were times when players were open and Dak is either hanging on to the ball too long, off target or not even looking or throwing into double or triple coverage. He doesn’t make smart decisions and the accuracy is a problem! And the good games will never outweigh that at the end of the day.

And people love to brag about being “top 10”. I guess that same stat means nothing at TE. lol
Dak had a 37-10 TD-pick ratio in 2021 with more weapons and 23-15 ratio last year without Cooper and Cedrick Wilson. Five more picks in five fewer games played too. It's not a coincidence to me. Guys weren't getting open and there were too many tight window throws.

Yes, Dak made some awful decisions too, but around half of his picks were not his fault. Even non-biased sources say so.

You cannot compare the Chiefs offense to ours. Out of the list you named, Lamb was pretty good in the playoffs. And that's about it. The rest were a no show. Pollard got hurt. Hilton and Brown were silent. And Schultz blew a routine sideline catch no one is talking about in crunch time. No one was good but Lamb and the occasion pass to him.

Dak led the league in tight window throws and our WRs/TEs were near the bottom of the barrel as a team in yards of separation / target.

Completely remove the QB from it emotions aside…it’s a real problem. Whether you want Dak to stay or find a new QB the problem needs to get fixed regardless. Not sure why it’s so hard to grasp that for some.

I don't care about pick ratio. Even after that it's his performance in the playoffs with those weapons. Always a new excuse, what will it be next year? Definitely not him!

Why were they “ silent “ . Does the QB at top tier elite salary not have any responsibilities in delivering the bread ?

If Dak hit Gallup in stride on that deep ball that was likely a TD. Even the announcers said that the ball on that route has to be delivered inside the numbers, but Dak threw it outside. Hilton was wide open on a couple of routes, at least, but Dak didn't see him. Sure, QBs miss seeing open guys all the time, but Dak is being paid Elite money, and he can't deliver elite results.

He's a great face for the franchise. Well spoken, and he appears to be nice and humble. Cowboys will be successful every year with Dak, as long as we measure "success" as having a winning record. I've said it on other threads that Dak can win us an SB, if all goes perfect.

Dak crapped the bed in SF. I won't be making any "he needs more weapons" excuses for him. What he needed to do was NOT give the ball away. Purdy out-played him.

I do not get the Prescott cult-like obsession. For the love of all things holy, he's not elite or Mahomes. FFS, this isn't a bagging groceries job, the ridiculous market value goes up w each next guy. You can't change that. Let it go.

Is the thread NOT about offensive weapons? That was my point, do I have to trash Dak when criticising other players now? I'm talking about the 49ers game. I don't care about all the love the regular season "No 1 offense" crap gets parroted.
The game that mattered. Not enough weapons, period.

And it's a fact that KC has more offensive weapons. To make you feel better, that includes the QB. Better overall roster top to bottom, solid foundations and most likely way better GM/coaching. Why compare, it's silly?

KC was all beat up on Offense in the AFC Championship game. They DID NOT HAVE MORE OFFENSIVE weapons in that game. They did have a much better decision maker at QB though.

We almost led the league in scoring!

Weapons are not the problem, Dak's inconsistency is!!!!!!!!
That is an unbelievable leap.

We have no one who can start for Philly but it is Dak's fault that we scored so much.

Lol.

To many fans want to give Dak excuses!

I was a big Dak fan, but he played terrible vs the Whiners. Your right a rookie out played him, how sad!!!

Your the only one who thinks we don’t have anyone who can start for Philly.

Dak helped us lead the league in scoring, but he was still inconsistent, and when it counted the most, in the playoffs, Dak was extremely inconsistent. The average fan can comprehend that. It is to bad you can’t.
