I am sick of fans, commentators, etc. saying we don’t have enough offensive weapons

We had the top scoring offense in the NFL over the last 12 games of the season. We just have a QB that is way to inconsistent. You never know which Dak will show up! He played great vs a pretty good TB defense that plays zone, but then played terrible vs a really good SF defense that plays zone.
Just because Dak didn’t see the open receivers, there were guys open!! Also instead of running Zek exclusively after Pollard went down, we should have given Davis his chance. He is way faster and quicker AND and an excellent receiver.

We have weapons Moore and Dak did not use them effectively vs the friggin Whiners!!!!
Once Pollard went down, we had only 1 weapon, so no, we didn’t have enough weapons. Compare our offensive playmakers to the 4 teams still in the playoffs; Gallup would not be a #2 on any of those teams. Brown wouldn’t even be a #3 or 4. First, that team you are bragging about having enough weapons because they were number one got there with the QB you blame. That’s irrational. The fact is that when you play the #1 defense in the NFL and can’t run the ball against them, you need more than one wr who can get open.

No one is saying Dak didn’t poorly, but everyone knows we didn’t have weapons which is why we were chasing Cooks and OBJ for two months and played a receiver off the street so much after just a week.

We could have Randy Moss and Desean Jackson in their prime as our wide receivers and Dak would not hit them. There were 2 touchdowns alone in the 49ers game that were missed. The deep shot to Lamb that he caught anyway..Then the Gallup pass late in the game..Both would have gone to the house.
the long pass to CD was high and under-thrown, CD made a hell of a play, but can't get any YAC. The pass the Gallup was short and inaccurate, about 2 yards off the target.

The arm strength and accuracy just were never there for this QB for his career here.

Ok so you're not going to even attempt to explain how they were able to have the number 1 scoring and yards offense from the time dak got back. Ok thanks.

Winning 12 games and losing 5 would be considered consistently winning.

I did explain it. The offense was inconsistent due to lack of talented depth.

That’s a clear explanation. All it takes is one bad game and your season is over in the playoffs. Especially when one of your best skill players gets hurt in the first half.

What’s your explanation for why they crapped out vs the niners?

So with all this inconsistency, how were they the number 1 offense?

Stupid plays, and missed opportunities on defense. The defense played good, but Purdy played just as bad as dak. The niners made daks mistakes pay. The defense dropped 3 Purdy ints. One that negates the niners go ahead td.

Ok you think the offensive cast is perfectly fine and they don’t have to improve at all? So what are the teams main needs then?

Every team playing for championship has drastically more fire power, it's an offensive league, yes Dak is lacking weapons. Gallup wasn't a 4 and Noah is at best a 4.

You can always improve in every aspect. BUT what happened last year and the year before that and the year before that and so on.... ? Seems like deflection in a pretty obvious situation.

I didnt say that, never thought that. I was hoping for obj. But I have asked poster after poster to explain how they come up with this team lacking talent on offense, have a qb who is a bum, and a bad oc, but still have the number 1 offense in scoring and yards since dak came back from injury. And none of you can come up with a answer.

The teams biggest need is coaching. How do we expect the team to play smarter if the coaches put them in stupid positions, and make stupid decisions in big situations in games.

Next they need rbs, plural.

They need a wr who can take the top off.

They're going to need another s. Hooker is nothing special and they're going to need to replace Wilson. I'm pretty sure they will go with muku at cb in 2023 after the progress he showed in the playoffs.

Gosh forbid someone says our QB elevates his WR by committee justtttttt a little bit.

Problem is our FO is asking him to do it consistently AND against playoff caliber teams and he just ain’t that dude…which is fine, about 30 teams have the same problem.

Get him weapons.

we dont use our weapons enough

its no reason Turpin shouldnt be on the field at WR more

you dont need him to catch a thing, just run a 9 route as fast as possible to clear out the safety

Dak did throw interceptions, he didn't play well. i'm not disagreeing with you, but so did our offensive line, our defense had 1 drive where they played terrible as well. We had 1 receiver all year that could get any separation in Lamb.

It is a team effort, Dak is part of that, but so are others.

it has been widely circulated all year that Lamb was the only receiver with separation that is even decent.
It was also widely circulated last year that we had a top 5 O line according to PFF. What a joke that was. This years O line was WAY better in the playoffs.

Of course Dak was not the only player that made mistakes, but Dak’s mistakes gave the ball to the other team twice.

If Dak just plays a clean game and makes a few throws , like Purdy, we win the game!
Not a guarantee, that's not how that works but good try.. gallup didn't help on hat first INT lie he fell down in the indy game after being touched ..no run game at all, OL sketchy, sorry but Moore was more the issue it was team Offensive failure from coach to the players..we failed on offense 2 years in row a hit the Niners over NO RUN Game, penalty's, and not having a clean pocket.

Our d had 2 shots at INTs plus Diggs doesn't hit kittle on that deep pass bobbling the ball and whiffs on contact and didn't make the play,,. purdy was NOT perfect, neither was dak but his weapons and the play calls were simply better, we were simply unlucky recipients of those plays got made and ours didn't.

why didn't Stafford's 2 Ints in the SB lose that game? right get over it team offense and coaches failed. defense played great outside of not making 1 of those 2 INTS or that hit on kittle to break that up...their defender shoves Gallup off his route and goes and gets that INT, gallup made no effort to go break it up and Diggs misses his shots.

i mean thats the difference in a 7 point game as well.. all of it added up.

Are you talking about the Dallas Cowboys? Do you realize Lamb is our main slot receiver. Dalton Shultz though he made a couple bone head plays vs the Niners is easily a top 10 TE with 2 pretty good backups.I also think Davis is a pretty darn good backup RB. He should have played WAY more after Pollard’s injury.
CeeDee Lamb lines up in the slot only 50% of the time. We need a sturdy, powerful guy who can take short passes and turn them upfield. Someone like Parker Washington who will likely go in the 3rd round.
