I am sick of fans, commentators, etc. saying we don’t have enough offensive weapons

Every team playing for championship has drastically more fire power, it's an offensive league, yes Dak is lacking weapons. Gallup wasn't a 4 and Noah is at best a 4.
No they don’t. They do have way more consistent QB play though.

It may be an offensive league, but dominate D, beats dominate O almost every time. I hope we focus on improving the D rather than O this next year for that reason. But of course we need to find a way to get rid of Dak.

Outside of the Alien Mahomes and the Chiefs…

You think MG matches up to D Smith, Higgins and Aiyuk as a #2?

Now seeing this:

“ Per Next Gen Stats, no full-time starter threw into a tight window more often than the Cowboys QB this season, with just under a fifth of his attempts aimed toward a receiver with less than a yard of separation from the closest defender.”

I didnt say that, never thought that. I was hoping for obj. But I have asked poster after poster to explain how they come up with this team lacking talent on offense, have a qb who is a bum, and a bad oc, but still have the number 1 offense in scoring and yards since dak came back from injury. And none of you can come up with a answer.

The teams biggest need is coaching. How do we expect the team to play smarter if the coaches put them in stupid positions, and make stupid decisions in big situations in games.

Next they need rbs, plural.

They need a wr who can take the top off.

They're going to need another s. Hooker is nothing special and they're going to need to replace Wilson. I'm pretty sure they will go with muku at cb in 2023 after the progress he showed in the playoffs.

I never said the QB is a bum or that they don’t have any talent. What I said was that the cowboys need more offensive talent and that I believe 3 or the 4 remaining teams have better skill players than the cowboys.

So. Clarify something for me. How can you tout how good the offense is and in the same breath say the QB who lead that offense is trash? Was he not the sole leader of this great offense? Or did Ceedee will himself into the endzone?

So having the top scoring offense is proof that Noah Brown TY Hilton and Michael Gallup aren't trash (despite the fact that they contributed very little to said offense), but the guy in charge of it (who was the literal source everything outside of Tony Pollard) is pure garbage?

We need a new QB, a run stuffing DT. We need to go from a very good D to a dominant D!
100% agree about the DT. We’re not gonna be able to part ways with Dak, though. It’s too cost prohibitive. We need to focus on making the offense Dak friendly. I mean, we made it to the divisional round this year with him.

I agree, Dak and the coaches had weapons, but the do need to add more explosive, home-run threats. It's hard to make it with only 2 Playmakers, add two more and their in business.

A playmaking TE or WR + another RB will do the trick to help Dak out.

We had the top scoring offense in the NFL over the last 12 games of the season. We just have a QB that is way to inconsistent. You never know which Dak will show up! He played great vs a pretty good TB defense that plays zone, but then played terrible vs a really good SF defense that plays zone.
Just because Dak didn’t see the open receivers, there were guys open!! Also instead of running Zek exclusively after Pollard went down, we should have given Davis his chance. He is way faster and quicker AND and an excellent receiver.

We have weapons Moore and Dak did not use them effectively vs the friggin Whiners!!!!
Tell me who is a NFL caliber WR besides Lamb? Gallup hasn’t been the same since his injury. Brown drops too many balls and is a horrible route runner. They had no one that could run past receivers. Teams just let them throw underneath. Pollard is a decent RB but Zeke is a ghost of himself. They need to get more athletic at TE so yes indeed they do not have the offensive weapons.

An excellent post that needed to be said . Multiple TE’s as weapons can go 4 deep on receivers an above average OL and yes Davis collected dust all year .

One constant issue is the INT’s . The first pick 4 threw Sunday was the exact play Kendall Fuller broke on the route for a Commanders pick 6 . On the opposite side of field . 49ers saw that on film and waited for it to pop .

Excuses, excuses, excuses. It simply can't be that when the offense is leading the league in points per game it is also trash. The same offense that hung 40 on the vaunted Eagles defense. When you watch a quarterback attempt to throw a seam route against single high safety rather than take a much easier 1 on 1 hinge route outside it makes you scratch your head. When he is throwing a pick six on a stick route it also makes you wonder. He needs more weapons? He had MANY weapons against Denver last year. How did that go?

He should've had 3 INTs and a sack for a safety last Sunday. I am extremely skeptical that bringing in a "legit #2" is going to cure the fundamental problems in Prescott's game. He is OFF the reservation right now.

Yea, I mean the O was good enough to thrash bad teams in the NFC this year but moving the ball was tough against some of the better defenses at times (NY, TN, SF, TB week 1).

It’s like the FO said ok Dak we just need you to be elite every week and we’re good. He can do it for a few games (PHI, TB playoffs) but it just isn’t sustainable…he ain’t Mahomes.

List the rankings against the team we just played:

Offensive lines: San Fran has better
Defensive line: San Fran
Overall defense: San Fran
Running back: San Fran
Receivers: San Fran

We couldn't run the ball, Dak had 1/3 of our rushing yards. How many playoff games are won when a team doesn't get 100 yards and the QB has 1/3 of those yards. CD Lamb was the only receiver all year to get any kind of consistent separation. Playing San Fran, Dak's pocket was collapsing pretty quick most of the day.

I understand the QB is the face of the franchise and there has to be someone to blame, but think big picture. Dak isn't a great QB but he isnt trash either.
agree 100%
