I Am Worried About Romo...seriously

I said nothing about bledsoe. Romo was a failed experiment. You should realize that and stop killing the messengers in the name of Jesus Romo.

The guy has a lot of confidence. He'll bounce back just fine. Next season doesn't start for another 9 months. That's a lot of time to get over it.

ohhh my god I hate the offseason so much
boring months ahead...

Indeed. Just think, only 4 months until the draft. :)

Guys, I am really worried about Romo, for real. I have never seen anybody so despondant after the game. He sounded like he was just devastated and blaming himself for ending the season.

Does the Cowboys have conselors or something for the players? I really dont think Romo should be left alone in a situation like this. I am serious here guys, I used to work in a crisis center and some people can get so depressed and despondent that they start having crazy thoughts.

I really think somebody else needs to learn to be the holder in the offseason, Romo is the one starting QB in the NFL that holds. I just hope that Romo can bounce back from this and have a good season next year.

I am really worried about him right now though, hopefully some coaches or players are trying to cheer him up today, I dont like the idea of leaving somebody alone when they are this despondent.

Huh?

What are you talking about?

This is a strange post. You dont even know the player, yet you feel concerned?

You mean the Romo experiment is officially over? Says who?

Another Bill Parcells poor decision. How many punters hold for kicks in the NFL? Not Parcells.

I hope he will be OK, but that was terribly devastating.

Terribly devastating? Try terribly stupid, he should be despondent, he pissed a good season away on a bonehead play.

I think Romo should start next year, but they'd better have a solid backup in the wings. Either trade up in the draft or get a veteran. I think Romo could be a sizzle and fizzle kind of guy, who's shooting star has flamed out.

I hope Romo can look at Gilbert Arenas. Arenas choked hard when missing two free throws at the end of game 6 in the playoffs. He took that as motivation and is playing absolutely incredible this season.

You are relentless. You can't even give us some time to mourn before you come in with your anti-Romo rhetoric. He'll be fine and back in full force next year. Go ahead and write that down, save the post, or whatever you want to do.

"terribly devasting" its true.... I think draws some MAJOR strength from this in the future...

Its now what happens to you in life... its how you handle what happens to you in life...

Romo was having too much fun this season, he was eating the cheese, he was listening to the praise and gushing over accolades and stuff.......he heard what he was being told by BP... but I dont think he was "listening" 100%.......... that has now changed........ I think he comes out on fire... on a mission next year...

You know when your parents or friend tell you "dont do this, I did it and its bad" and you claim to listen and say OK.... but then you do it anyway..... NOT until you receive the result of your action can you truly LISTEN

That botched placement put him in the same category as Jackie Smith and Leon Lett. He won't get "over it" because the media will remind him about it for the rest of his life. His only salvation will be winning the big one or at least staying in contention for a very long time. I just hope he can use it as motivation in the future.

This team is a good draft and a healthy season away from being one of the best. Besides QB, I dont think there is another position on the team that had a much drop off as they had with Ellis out. he will be back and hopefully Carpenter will be that much better next year.

I am looking for some nasty tackles in the draft next year.

Just because ESPN put him in that same company doesnt mean thats the case. If John Elway can for the most part wipe out 3 SB loses with 2 SB wins.... Romo can get over this.... it was a first round playoff game for a first time starter in the NFL
