I will continue to watch the games but not with any real hope of winning.
I can't not watch.
It's a serious addiction.

At this point who cares who plays? The season is lost and nothing good can happen to make it better.
If Moore comes in and lights it up, it will be good for the team. If anything else, a QB that shows he can play is excellent trade value.
Just ask all the teams that have had Matt Cassell throughout the years...
That doesn't help.
Based on how the season has unraveled it's definitely a possibility that Moore will get a shot to play if Cassel stinks it up against the Jets on Saturday this team has nothing to play for other than pride at this point.Don't know how good this source is but it says if things don't go good against the Jets then Moore will take over...So, in other words, Moore will get some playing time...prolly when we are down by 20.

Playing Moore (For better or worse) would at the very least give me some interest in watching the game.
Why not just start him this week?
I see Garrett never gave you one of the "FIGHT" T-Shirts during training camp.
Because they think Cassel gives them the best chance to win but if he plays poorly they will pull him for Moore. I know, its dumb but that is exactly what they are going to do....
Garrett owes it to the rest of the 52 players on the team to give the best chance at winning.
If he asks those 52 players to go out and give it their best to win. Then he needs the 53rd guy in the QB that helps give it the best. And right now that is Cassell, and whether one wants to admit it or not. We know it's right.
I want to see what Moore can do, but he does not give us the best chance.
.
The Jets are one of the teams that scare me the least. Great defense that will give us some problems, but there offense isn't anything special. Much more worried about the Bills myself.
We have no cb's. Our secondary is gonna get torched and we will be down by so much it won't matter.who plays qb.
Say what you want about this team but we have had two games this year where we were "down so much that it didn't matter" and both of those games were against the best in the league (NE and CAR).
I would be willing to bet money that we will keep it close enough to give us some hope so we can be let down at the end.
It doesn't help to have a 26 year old QB on your roster that has had some success in the NFL?
Not when you're record is 4-9.
But we had some depth at cb then. Now past Carr/Jones we have no one.
We are not talking about this season, we are talking about the future. If Moore proves to be adequate but our staff is not sold on him but we can flip him for a pick to recoup one of the picks we gave up for Michael, Brown or Cassell...it's worth it. A 26 year old QB with one good game under his belt might be worth something to someone...even if he just helps us trade up in the sixth for a player we like.
