I bet we see Moore play this weekend

I think with him getting the reps Cassel is on a short leash. I really want to see what he's got. It's my sisters graduation this weekend and is having a dinner during the game, good thing one of my buddies has Verizon and I'll be able to see on his phone.

Being down by 20 and playing Moore isn't going to tell you much. Would rather prepare him as the starter to give him a chance to be successful. The Jets defense will just tee off on him if we bring him in down by 3 scores.

I see a scenario putting him in at halftime if our offense continues to be unimpressive regardless of the score(assuming we are losing).

I don't see the team being down by 20, this is a team that has been within a score of all of their opponents besides the Pats/Panthers going into the fourth quarter. We don't get blown out.

The only way I see a blowout is if the Cowboys have relegated themselves to their faith and pack it in. If they do it's more reason to move on from Garrett.

Why not just start him this week?

The Cowboys (and some fans) are still under the delusion that the season is not over and that we still have a shot at the playoffs so you have to start Cassel because he is a vet.

I disagree, I would start Moore for the rest of the season.

The Jets are one of the teams that scare me the least. Great defense that will give us some problems, but there offense isn't anything special. Much more worried about the Bills myself.

Jets..........10th ranked scoring offense in NFL

Cowboys.......30th ranked scoring offense in the NFL

If their offense is nothing special, what the hell does that make our offense?

Release a 2nd year player contributing nothing, to see what another player that could be churned too, which would play if Mo didn't return. Comparing that to the QB that had years of experience over a QB that has no experience...yes, that screams tank in a big way.

So you judge how well a player is playing based on on "years of experience"? According to your logic , Carr must be the best DB we have then. Patmon has contributed as much if not more than Cassels has this year.

No I do not judge players that way. You should not draw a conclusion from that. Wonderful how people want to interpret things to their own perspective...LOL..

It means what it says...it is easier to replace a player with less experience at the time, with another player with about the same amount of experience, or less or a bit more. At a back up role.
Than a veteran player with years of experience that knows the most important position on the team. Than with a player with ZERO reps at that positions in a real game. Well, heck, he didn't even have any in a PS game either.

Is that logical enough for you?

I hope we see him. Why not? The offense cannot be any worse with Moore. Throw everything out the window. They have nothing to lose. How many more jumbo packages are we going to see where they don't even pick up a yard? At this point just see what you got. Give the fans a reason to watch the game

Maybe the coaching staff thinks it was be a good idea to have the backup get a few reps and be somewhat prepared in case Cassel gets hurt. What a novel concept.

I'm a big believer that there are some guys who are Saturday(college)/Sunday QBs. Maybe doesn't show in drills and practice but when lights are on, they have some magic. Moore was a stud on Saturdays. They might have apprehension in what they've seen but let's see what he has in Sunday's...or today. Only way to know.

Your logic flawed. You are equating having more experience with better performance. Experience means nothing if you are consistently playing bad and not producing. The main reason we have lost most of our games this year is because of poor QB play and not poor nickel back play.

Using your logic Bledsoe would have never lost his job to Romo in 2006.

Still trying to tell me what my logic is.....well ok then.
You still don't get it. I don't really care.
