Lol, go watch some film. Don't be so ignorant. Take a look at Josh Ball and then take a look at Jason Peters. The bar/standard is kinda low nowadays.
Better than not doing anything I guess, for appearance sake and all.
For 2021, he was rated having the best performance by a Bears OT in the past 5 seasons...The only 40+ signing that would be ok is a guy named Brady. Other than him I really don’t get it. Has it gotten that bad that Jerry could sign Larry Allen and everyone is talking like it’s adding Deion in 95? LOL, brainwashed fan base.
The OP spent $8000 on Fisher's blog casts and laid a heavy bet in Vegas. He is just venting.
Security. This buys us a year to develop Walezta and keeps Josh Ball off the field. More of a relief if Tyler doesn't adjust well or gets injured we have some veteran protection to protect our QB. Like him, love him or hate him, but if Dak gets injured we are done. Peters provides a comfort zone in protecting Dak. If Josh Ball and WZA got on the field for any meaningful action then we are in trouble. Personally I would describe my reaction as more "relief" than "excited".The only 40+ signing that would be ok is a guy named Brady. Other than him I really don’t get it. I know that you are a clown, but it was an outstanding signing.
Sooooo you'd rather Ball play LT or McGovern play LG....gotchaThe only 40+ signing that would be ok is a guy named Brady. Other than him I really don’t get it. Has it gotten that bad that Jerry could sign Larry Allen and everyone is talking like it’s adding Deion in 95? LOL, brainwashed fan base.
That is what I mean. You use this place to be a clown. Your own entertainment.Still fighting imaginary wars in the jungle?
Hey, what do Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris have in common?
They never were in combat. Sort of like you, movie hero.
Sort of like you, running in the jungle with no plan.
The imaginary jungle gives you ideas when your knowledge of football can be contained in your mum's hope chest. The hope chest she has in case your daddy never returns.
Heh.
Yes he is.Isn't he a Texas guy?
Agree, I hope our young O linemen get a chance to prove this signing to be a waste of time.....the other thing: what kind of shape and conditioning is the 40 yr old in?The only 40+ signing that would be ok is a guy named Brady. Ignorant, blind, don't follow the game like we do.For 2021, he was rated having the best performance by a Bears OT in the past 5 seasons...
Maybe it's more about some of the fan base being uneducated...
Steele gave up 2 sacks last season, at least one was during the 1st game of the impromptu move to the left side. Peters gave up 6. The belief that they’re going to possibly move Steele after releasing Collins because he struggles a bit is just silly. This was to distraction from criticism for being poorly prepared at backup by picking up a (name) media and fans had heard of. Barring injury Peters won’t touch the field and then it will be out of desperation! The depth was needed so no reason to be negative about the signing. But best case scenario is Peters never plays LT because Smith plays well the 1st 2 weeks and runs with the job.
Peters hasn’t played RT since 2005 so I’m curious about the possibility of him playing there if Steele struggles…which I think is a legit worry no one is talking about. I personally don’t think the odds of Steele being a good RT all season are much better than Smith being able to play LT.
Even better for him & fam.Yes he is.
