I can’t believe how many are so excited about a 40yr old signing

The only 40+ signing that would be ok is a guy named Brady. Other than him I really don’t get it. Has it gotten that bad that Jerry could sign Larry Allen and everyone is talking like it’s adding Deion in 95? LOL, brainwashed fan base.

I'd still be excited if he was 50. He still head and shoulders above what we have. If Larry Allen was still in shape I'd take him too!!

reactive vs proactive leadership
Water is wet
Unless you are a new cowboy fan this is the way it is, the way it was and the way it always will be
I would just change it to overreactive vs proactive

Who's excited? The team should have addressed Tyron years ago. Now it's going to be 28 years.

I can't believe that somebody would say this and put their name on it for all to see when you can actually go on youtube and see the excellent video on him from last year. You should be totally embarrassed.

It's not just him. Sports talk radio is laughing at us. Especially in Philly. But in Philly it's more of a feeling of embarrassment for him. Maybe they didn't watch film either.

I think the reason for the excitement lies with Ball and Waletzko.

Unless you are super excited about going into the 2022 season with just those two.

its fair for people to get excited that we found a stop gap to help take some of the pressure off of Smith as he is acclimating to the nfl...Peters graded out very soundly last year, is a proven leader and can be a great mentor to help the line come together.

Doesn't mean we are going to the superbowl, but its better to have him than where we were last week before we signed him.

Exactly, but people need something to stress over. Too old, or too expensive, or a head case. If those aren’t a concern, there’s an injury or criminal history, or they just shift the focus on a different player who DOES qualify for potential dumpster fire.

Plugged a glaring hole with a player who played well last year.
What's not to like ?

My take is Peters plays as soon as he is ready. Maybe week 3 or 4.
Only way that happens is if Tyler completely ***** the bed or injury. Once he’s there, they ain’t going to take the chance of blowing him up by moving him out!

I hate people who pretend to be something that they are not.

Like goobers from Farmers Branch who pretend to be British.

Or those who pretend tro be horsemen under the guise of horse love. tee-hee.
Let that horse go!:D

I figured we would get 8-10 games out of Tyron. Now, we might get that from Peters. He can get by just by technique but can still play. He's rested. This is a good thing.
But the usual suspects will cry.

So when we signed Brian Waters off his couch and he played at a very respectable level for us that year it was a bad signing?

This guy will help, period.

Dallas had to do something to help the LT position after the loss of Smith and given at the age of 39 Peters was ranked as the #22 OT in the league last season speaks volumes for him. That said, there is no doubt things should never have gotten to where Dallas is scrambling a few days before the season to seek help on the OL and that points directly to Jerry & Co.

They were looking at Peters and other OL before Tyron got hurt
