In SB XIII, Cowboys v Steelers, both teams had won two SB's each, so whoever won that game was going to be the first to win three Super Bowls. PIttsburgh's 4-point (and quite tainted) victory exagerated the difference between the two teams to the point that 9 HOFers would be elected from that Steeler team while the Cowboys still had 4.Hostile;2182374 said:Do you realize how being the first to six sets us apart?
A difference of more than one Hall of Famer for each point in the victory margin.
Now we're tied with them again at five apiece.
That's why the perfect season (now that I think about it) would not be 16-0. It would be beating the Steelers again in the Super Bowl. I just hope they make it.
I wasn't going to say anything, but crack the window next time.Hostile;2182374 said:Can you smell it?
