Told myself several years ago I wouldn't do it until they right the ship and at least make a playoff appearance. But I've decided to hold out a little longer. If they win the Super Bowl, I'm doing what I did in the 90's. I'm buying an authentic/replica blank jersey and printing Romo's name and number on the back, Murray's number on the front, Dez's number on one shoulder and Witten's number on the other shoulder.

In the 90's I had Aikman's name and number on the back, Emmitt's number on the front, Irvin's number on one shoulder and Novacek's number on the other shoulder.

I'd love to sport a Super Bowl jersey again, and the sooner the better.

With respect, I never understand why the rewards of fandom depend so much upon good times. Regardless of the day, week, month, year or era, the franchise is always the Dallas Cowboys.

"Blessed be fans who support teams unconditionally."

I still wear my old jerseys and hat's etc. It's not about being ashamed. It's more about being severly disappointed with Jerry Jones and his inability bring this team out of mediocrity. I swore he wasnt getting another dime from me until he earned it.

Being a loyal fan makes these good times, rare as they may be sometimes, all the sweeter.

God bless you bandwagon fans that buy the shirts after great success. We need you too so Jerry can pay the big salaries. But you're missing something special. To each his own...

I hear ya. I stopped buying for a while too. But part of that was having so much swag I had bought myself or had received as gifts. I could almost open my own Cowboys pro shop!

Bandwagon fan? I'll have you know young man I was watching Don Meredith in his final years. Don't give me that ****. Jerry may own the organization, but the Cowboys were here long before and will be here long after. When an owner produces he get's paid when he doesn't he shouldn't get paid,

I hear ya! I've been on a 3 year plus ban of spending any money on the Cowboys.

I still proudly wear all of the jerseys, shirts, and hats I bought years ago, but I made it a point not to financially support what I felt was an inferior product.

I'm thinking of ending my boycott too.

Good point on the bandwagon fans but I think almost every poster here deserves the success. We may disagree (a lot) but we all have the passion to come on and spend the emotional time and effort to do it for the team we love.

Everybody on here deserves the good times and it looks like we may have them for a while at least.

My criterion for giving Jerry money again was putting a quality product on the field, one that wouldn't be an embarrassment at the end of the season. I treated myself to the official division champ t-shirt last night.

I have trouble understanding why these numbnuts cant even begin to understand it. Not agree with it is one thing but to say you aren't a Cowboys fan is down right insulting.

Be careful now, some of this could be taken as criticism of the franchise,,, your true fan status will be revoked.
