I am fortunate the Yankees won the division so that helped get through this loss plus I looked at this team as an 8-8, 9-7 team, so I am not surprised by our struggles but I sure feel like we are moving in the right direction. Growing pains.

Maybe it's because we've had 3 straight weeks of crappy football. The all-too-brief euphoria after that one good game (SD, wk 1) has been replaced by the extended malaise of mediocrity.

Today's loss was a heart ripper Bro!!! It's a crusher!!! We shut down Moss and lost! and ...and! The Jints -Iggles and Skins all won!
Today friends....was miserable....MISERABLE!

I am pissed too. I try not to think about it, but it upsets me because we could have beaten these *******s. 13 points is all we could get against a bad pass defense? Why can’t we stop the run anymore? Moss on the second play wide open? 4th down we...i can’t stop thinking about it. :(

That fade pass to Key was awful and a bad idea.

I just can't muster the energy to really vent how angry I am.
These close games are killing me. I really think I've lost years off of my life in the last 4 weeks.

it was a bad pass but it wasn't a bad idea seeing as if it was a good pass keyshawn most likely would have caught it - everyone knew it was coming.

That Is What I Have Been Saying All Year. I Could Half Way Understand It If Romo, Or Henson Was Back There, But Drew Is His Guy, An 11+ Year Vet, And At Some Point Bill Has To Trust That He Will Make Good Decisions With The Football.

Improved team? Yes. And we ARE an improved team, but we still aren't a good team. And I didn't expect us to be any better then 2-2 at this point anyway.

Maybe us Texas fans (for the most part, I hope) just have a better understanding of the game then you yankees. :D
I normally just spent my time reading all the great post here and learning as much as
I can. I'm not an ex football player, just a old cowboy fan. I love them and hate them al
at the same time. l loved seeing a little of the old cowboys in the raiders yesterday.
Norv (who not the best ead coach) did what he does best . Take his offense and expose your weak spots and keep you off balance.
I totally agree that the youth on this team makes us inconsistent. It is also
what keeps us in the games. For every mistake they make they make a play.

But there things that bother me that maybe you experts can explain

1. Last year jj ran with his head up and made alot of yards by displaying the field vision
that Emmitt always had . This year he seems to be running with his head down and both arms arond the ball. He appears to be follow the play -wheither there is a hole or do.

2. Can everyone else call the play before the cowboys break huddle.

3. Although the rookies are making mistakes --does it appear some of the older players are stuck in the same "average" rut they have been in years.

4. Is Parcells stuck in some other timezone and is he surrounding himself with
coaches that are too.
5. Is it that hard to find coaches who are willing to get out a rut and attack the other
teams soft spot

I guess there are other questions and comments I can make or repeat what others have said.. But I leave with this question----how long will it take for a stuck in a rut coaches we have, take away the "try" in the young player and they become
unmotivated lumps like Flozel

Why do you begin every word with caps?

Sorry that bothers you. I will try to adjust. It is because I generally do everything in caps and it filters out that way. Hope that is not all you have to worry about today!

Today friends....was miserable....MISERABLE!

Bill Parcells is LOST! LOST!! 4-3 ..3-4...4-3...3-4 ..What are we! And why wasn't T-New on Moss all day!? And why is Roy playing silky soft? And why didn't we run blitz more! And how in the world do we not get in from the 3 with the game on the line and the Eagles awaiting us next week...
AND WHO THE HELL EVER SAID THE FADE ROUTE WAS THE WAY TO GIVE UP ON 3RD DOWN!!
AND LASTLY! Why Wasn't Jason Witten used in the goal line series?

I'm Sick! I have been angry since the final whistle...and I can't let it go....that's a fan! Not someone who comes here and tells us to be calm and that we're Skins fans in disguise NO! We are the real fans...the ones that are in pain...not denial.

I am sick with you, but, we have to believe and stick with the team! They are going to improve....we are very young on defense and have not played togther that much.....so I believe they are learning each other.

Scott Case, how old are you?

Maybe when you get a little older, you'll see that getting in a tizzy over every thing that doesn't make you happy doesn't really serve any purpose in life. That's why we're calm.

It doesn't matter how upset you are...you have no control over the Cowboys, period. Nothing you do short of assassination attempts will make them play any better or worse, so what is there to get all worked up about?

There's only so much they can do. It takes time for young guys to become complete players. It takes time for Parcells to develop faith in Payton and Bledsoe, not to mention the offensive line. This is exactly where reasonable people thought the Cowboys would be at this point, and hopefully they can continue to improve their game bit by bit and be a little better than a .500 team by the end of the season.

It takes time, it takes time. That excuse gets tossed around for the Cowboys in every facet of the franchise. Quarterback needs time to develop, defense needs time to gel, offense needs time to click, give Purcells time to turn this team around.

I'm sick of hearing it, frankly. No amount of time in the universe is going to alleviate the consequences of zero gameplanning and horrendous playcalling. No amount of time is going to be enough for Bledsoe to make good reads consistently. Exactly how many years does Purcells need for this team to learn the fundamentals?

Maybe we should just make Keyshawn the Coach.

By the looks of your sig there, seems like maybe he's the only one that knows whats going on. ;)

Uhm, that's quoted for humor. Do you know what that is?

On a serious note - Keyshawn couldn't have coached that game any worse than what we saw last night.

That quote is again proof that Keyshawn opens his mouth too soon. example: (Marvin Harrison comments on MNF)

How is it proof he opens his mouth too soon? It's proof Keyshawn has a sense of humor. The receivers weren't the problem really, well the ones who got to play. Receivers and TEs can't throw the ball to themselves when they get open.

We'll be going into the next game with that same group of "#2 receivers". So tell me, how is it any less valid now?
