really - I don;t know if it's b/c I'm a New Yorker and I'm impatient and angry as a rule....but this board is just so reserved and understanding of today's loss!!
Today's loss was a heart ripper Bro!!! It's a crusher!!! We shut down Moss and lost! and ...and! The Jints -Iggles and Skins all won!
Today friends....was miserable....MISERABLE!

Bill Parcells is LOST! LOST!! 4-3 ..3-4...4-3...3-4 ..What are we! And why wasn't T-New on Moss all day!? And why is Roy playing silky soft? And why didn't we run blitz more! And how in the world do we not get in from the 3 with the game on the line and the Eagles awaiting us next week...
AND WHO THE HELL EVER SAID THE FADE ROUTE WAS THE WAY TO GIVE UP ON 3RD DOWN!!
AND LASTLY! Why Wasn't Jason Witten used in the goal line series?

I'm Sick! I have been angry since the final whistle...and I can't let it go....that's a fan! Not someone who comes here and tells us to be calm and that we're Skins fans in disguise NO! We are the real fans...the ones that are in pain...not denial.

I think judging by your post it is important for you to understand a couple of things.

You are sick, pissed off, you can not let it go, you are angry. Ok I think we all understand that, but you say this makes you a real fan because you are in pain.

Well I can guarantee you all "real" Cowboy fans are in pain after any loss.

And, I can also tell you everyone handles pain in different ways, that is just life.

Just because you are so pissed off does not mean your pain is any more than someone taking a completely different approach to how they handle it.

I have been a Cowboys Fan since 1976. I have been through a lot of losses, and I am in extreme pain after every single one.

In the late 80's early 90's I actually would get so furious I would at times break furniture, and even a TV set once. Nothing I am proud of at all, but I am sure you would see that as validation to my loyalty to the Cowboys judging by your post.

I also handled a lot of pains and disappointments in life the same way.

As I got older, matured, and had a family I began to learn how to handle life's disappointments a little differently, and yes I would consider Cowboy loses as life disappointments.

I no longer break things, and I now handle things much different. I have to because my wife and kids see me, and I want to set a good example for them.
I want to show them how to handle disappointments better than what I did.

I can guarantee you that I am in as much pain as any Cowboy fan in existence. I too have replayed many plays from yesterdays game in my head, and it is more painfull everytime. Shoot, I am still replayinig the Commander game in my mind. IT HURTS BAD!

But, when I am going through this I like to come here and try to calm people down, help see the positives, but also look at what we need to do to improve. It is like therapy for me, it helps me get through it. That is now how I try to handle life's pains. Just my way, and honestly has really benefited me as I have gotten older.

Many others are probably the same way, others probably get depressed and do not even come around, others get pissed and blame everybody and everything, others make jokes, others do not acknowledge it happened, others make excuses.

It is just all human nature, and this is a place for us all to express ourselves however we need to, to get through the pain and disappointment.

That is just something that is different for each person, just as each person handles life in a different way, but we all usually get through it.

This place helps me, and I am sure others, and I thank everyone for that.

So do not think just because your pain is filled with anger and disappointment, and that is how you express it, that makes you a "real fan".

It only makes you like the rest of us, and lets us know how you get through it, which is ok, that is what we are here for. :star:

How is it proof he opens his mouth too soon? It's proof Keyshawn has a sense of humor. The receivers weren't the problem really, well the ones who got to play. Receivers and TEs can't throw the ball to themselves when they get open.

We'll be going into the next game with that same group of "#2 receivers". So tell me, how is it any less valid now?

The quote is dumb because what exactly have the Cowboys offense done to earn respect? Scored 13 points against the 31st pass defense. Maybe the quote wasn’t a joke.:

Dallas is currently ranked #11 in the NFL in points scored per game. #9 in the NFL in passing yards. I guess those little factoids didn't fit into your agenda.

Our offense has PROVEN they can make plays when put into a position to make them.

I’m not sure what agenda you are talking about. But ic you are interested in throwing around stats to prove how smart you are. Fact of the matter is the Cowboys are 2-2 and in no position to brag about anything. The offense yesterday was NOTHING to brag about. 19-13, try that factoid.

I think I'm just worn out and I was actually expecting them to lose. It was frustrating watching them not being able to stop the run and having some rookie growing pains, but they did have a shot to win it at the end and they couldn't convert. SD had the same shot against us, these things are about 50-50 when it comes down to the last drive every week, so it's not real suprise that we are 2-2.

I think this week against Philly is a big one though, having a much bigger impact both positive or negative with a win or loss.

Really? Wow, I didn't know that. Apparently the game was only broadcast to your house.

You're implying that our offense can't do anything, that it is anemic and has floundered all season long. I quoted stats to prove otherwise. Not to prove how smart I am.

If that's too difficult for you to understand, well....

Nice insult. Congrats on being an a-hole.

I do not imply that we can’t score, pay attention. I simply say that Keyshawn’s quote is dumb. Why is this hard for you to understand?

You caught my insult before I thought better of it and removed it. Big deal. People that act stupid, or are in fact stupid, piss me off.

Here's what you said:

then you said

I do not imply that we can’t score, pay attention. I simply say that Keyshawn’s quote is dumb. Why is this hard for you to understand?

Could have at least waited a few pages to contradict yourself.

Re-read Keyshawn’s quote. He is talking about the Raiders game. My comments are aimed at that game. We scored 13 points...was this a great showing?

I think you like to insult because that makes you feel like the bigger person. Whatever makes you feel good. ;)

While the quote was aimed at the Raiders game, it can be applied to every game this season that we've played, as well as the Eagles next week, and probably the Giants the week after that, etc. That's the part of the equation you seem to be missing. Was the San Diego game a great showing? We scored 28 points and we won (pointing out the obvious since you seem to do enjoy doing that, probably because it makes you feel like the bigger person). It was the same people playing that are in Keyshawn's quote.

A quote like that should be saved for the Super Bowl trophy presentation. The San Diego was good, not impressive and does not make a season. Washington performance was poor. 49ers have given up 42, 34 and yesterday 31 to the Cardinals. Keep the sig tho, will remind me of the Raiders loss. Have the last word and be the bigger man, im done. :D

I'm done too. Nothing to see here, back to your regularly scheduled calm and quiet board.

I almost forgot, thank you very much for your permission to keep the aforementioned quote in my signature. I will not forget your generosity.

I dont know that it matters if we are improved or not. The coaching staff is dropping the ball on too many fronts.

Im telling ya, if this stuff happened under Campo or Switzer, everyone would be calling for the axe.

You're absolutely right about this. We saw a team that was not really prepared to win the game today and Parcells should get his *** roasted. People can make all the excuses in the world for the loss and some may be legitimate. The bottom line is this was a very winnable game for this team and they lost.

Reminded me too much of the Campo era.
