that another team in the NFL that has a better set of blocking TEs on their team. I've watched each game this year on an average of 4-5 times apiece. Trying to notice little trends. In watching the games (without the vantage point of a game film), M. Bennett is a %$^%ing beast at the point of attack. I've seen him manhandle W. McGinest, flatten some poor kid on kickoff coverage in the Philly game, and toss AJ Hawk on Barbers TD run in the 3rd qtr of the GB game. I was very impressed to notice the same thing in Curtis. I was under the wrong impression that he was a finess player (athletic/raw), only to find out that this kids is a grinder. Jack of all trades type of player, just low key. AS far as Witten goes. Okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bennett had nearly 70 knockdown blocks in a single season in college. I was kinda skeptical about the number, but I'm definitely not now. If he never catches a pass, but blocks like that, he'd be worth his draft status.

Good post. I was surprised that Madden and Michaels came right out and said that Witten was the best TE in the league. We've said it on this board but I've never heard it anywhere else. It's great he's getting the recognition.

I am simply amazed at how well Bennett is blocking as a rookie. You just couldn't ask for anything more out of him at this point.

It's true... and I like it...

Our TE's are knocking the blocks off of opposing teams... it changes the defensive game plans for these guys...

This is a good thing...
