If CBS is actually getting tired of Tony Romo, as clickbait titles suggest, then he would be a great voice in the ear of the QB as a QB coach, and probably a top notch offensive coordinator. He loves the game, is a student of the game, and would be tremendously effective at designing plays. Few collarbone injuries in the offensive coordinator world, right?

Yes, the Dak-Romo relationship is probably a bit icy, but that can be a good thing too, both would have to be intentionally professional in their discussions.

I still can’t figure out why these networks pay anyone that kind of money.

Absolutely no one watches the game for the announcers.

I don’t who is there, even if it’s no one. If I want to see that game I’m watching it.

No Thanks. I liked Romo the player, but you have to have some experience and a legit resume. If Romo wants to get into coaching, he's gotta climb that ladder. you don't just start out at OC. How many times do you have to see Jerry do this to know it's a bad idea? It was foolish with Garrett and Moore.

a lot of fans from apposing teams has said it's gotten terrible this season where his takes just look like he is doing zero research prior to the game. Jets fan mentioned how he barely even knew anything about their team when commentating the game. I think the Josh Allen and Mahomes groupie stuff is a bit much - and he is super critical of the Cowboys even worse than Troy was... you could hear the jealousy in his voice commentating our games lol

Why would he trade $10 million a year with 20 hours of work a week for $1 million a year for 80 hours a week?

Not to mention, he's already worth about $250 million.

That's a whole lot of money. It's unreal, actually. They're paying him so much, and Brady will get even more.

its a difference in calling games from the booth for a network and calling games on the sideline in the heat of the game
