Sure no problem, they only hung 48 on us in our house en route to beating us by 21. And don't give me they aren't playing as well now because we aren't either.

And we should have had at least 38 on them. Trust me, if we protect the ball and don't make dumb penalties, we can win. And I already acknowledged tha fact that we didn't play well in Dec. But we've played better than them IMO.

The Patriots were playing for history here, and to think they weren't bringing their A game is just ludicrous. They were celebrating this victory like they won the Super Bowl.

Ask Rodney "cheap shot" Harrison how gimpy Jacobs was when Jacobs kept abusing him. It was getting so bad I think Harrison closed his eyes and dove at him one time, hoping he'd miss him (and he did).
Thats the perfect example of what the Pats get nearly every week; guys, even if they are injured, playing maxed out to try to beat them.

Jacobs did next to nothing on the ground. He got out in the open a couple of times on screens and dump offs, but he was ineffective when he was handed the rock. And we know the Pats have been less than stellar against the run lately.

I agree on the benefits of the outcome. I didn't want to see the gints with any momentum. And I think the pressure of continuing to win will eventually wear out the Pats before the playoffs and SB are over.

I think they're already getting worn down. That's why they could easily lose in the playoffs. They need a bye week that's for sure.

The other thing about the Jags for everyone else high on them. The Pats do seem pretty good at taking away what you're best at. And there's no doubt the Jags are best at running it. Can Garrard beat them? I'm not so sure. But I'm pretty sure Addai and Peyton could.

That's right, they say we have a better chance of making it to the Super Bowl (a 48.6 percent chance) than the Patriots (45.2 percent), because they will have tougher teams to beat to get there. They say there's a 30.7 percent chance that the Patriots won't even win a playoff game.

However, the Pats do have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl (29.1 percent) than we do (21.9 percent).

Not true. On the drive where Manning hit the TE in the end-zone, it was Jacobs who systematically ran the ball to move the team downfield. The 4th quarter, when the Patriots were down two scores, the Giants didn't go the Jacobs at all. Those drives ended in 3 and outs, if I remember correctly.

Feeley had Westbrook, Boller had McGahee stuffing it down their throats, and Eli played a damn good game I thought, probably his best of the year (at least top 3). If the Jags are gonna have a shot, it's going to have to be in bad conditions IMO. I don't know if Garrard and those WRs will be able to get it done in bad weather. But I'd love it if they did.

Westbrook was a factor the way he always is. Around 25 touches around 100 yards and a TD. Feeley played well but he also had 3 picks.

I'm just not convinced Garrard can carry the Jags against the Pats in bad weather. Just an opinion... don't like it, go cry to mommy.

One drive does not = effective. Sorry, it just doesn't. How many yards did he have on that one drive... I think it was like 2-3 long carries... as opposed to the rest of the game? I know at half he had like 7 carries for 7 yards.

He had 15 carries for 67 yards. He looked very much hampered in the first half. He had a good RAC on the TD catch, but when he was handed the ball in the 1st half, he had 7 yards.

Their first drive of the second half he had 3 carries for 4, 16, and 15 yards. So aside from those two carries, he had 13 for 36 yards. You're right, very effective.
