I don't believe Dak will just come in and light it up

You knew it was coming.

They don't really believe in them. They just can't bring themselves to come out and say it.

It's easy to tell us what he will do while he's injured and not playing. The problem for them is at some point he must come back and live up to the mythical character they create when he's injured.
Your crazy if you think one guy speaks for all.

Despite a solid job by Cooper Rush managing this team while Dak was gone, I don't believe Dak will just come in and light it up. Dak hasn’t had a chance to get into a groove with this offense like Rush has.

We have to show patience for a game or two (as long as we're winning) while Dak gets into a rhythm with this offense. This is not giving Dak any excuses or any passes, but I don't expect to see a solid outing by Dak until the first game after the bye because I still don't believe that hand is fully healed.

Do I believe Dak can play well enough to contribute to winning these next two games before the bye??? Absolutely. But do I think he's going to come in lighting it up?? Absolutely not. Again, let's not kid ourselves with expectations of some heroic performance by Dak after a long layoff recovering from the hand injury.

Oh yeah.... don't think for a minute that opposing defenses aren't going to take the opportunity to swipe at Dak's hand to see how well it holds up, so Rush need to stay ready!!
No one's ask him to "light it up".
Just win the game.

Well, he really hasn’t played at all since camp. He will be rusty, probably a mildly, numb thumb to boot. I think it will be a run first game with 15-20 passes mixed in.

Sounds like the herd is spooked now that D day is approaching. Not sure why everyone is so nervous. Dak said himself he's going to take the offense to another level. He said himself how simple it is. And all that pop. Don't worry guys. Dak has got this...

I don't believe anybody is nervous.... I believe the intelligent people with higher football IQs understand what its like to be a human being and having to get back into a rhythm.

Its only the low IQ people who ignore what real human beings go through and are drooling at the mouth for the first mistake made by an individual that has sat out for weeks to say "SEE.... SEE.... You know... the typical double standard mouth breathers like the few who claimed Rush was better than other quarterbacks on our team.... until it was Rush who single-handedly loss the game for us with 3 interceptions, realizing that a 120 yard passing outing isn't going to beat the very good teams.

They were angry that their propaganda blew up in their faces after the Eagles game.

These are the same mouth breathers who are the ones who will set Mahomes level benchmarks for a Dak who's missed over a month's worth of action.

Again... intelligent people know it takes repetition to get back to your best. Low IQ people will point fingers if Dak doesn't put up 500 yards with 6TD passes in his first game back from injury, win or lose.

I don't know. He is due for a big game. You can't flip tails all the time. He puts up big numbers thanks in part to the D shutting down Detroit 3&outs and Moore wanting to air out the offensive stink. lol

I don't care what Dak says, SHOW ME.

Tell the media to stop asking him questions and then you won't hear him say anything.

Do you think Dak just go up to journalists and say, "hey cut your mic on, I got something to say"?

What do you expect him to do when he's asked questions after a game he didn't play in and he's wearing street clothes and a journalist ask him a question??? Ignore him?? Then you all would be the first to say Dak is an *** for blowing off reporters. He's damned if he don't and he's damned if he do.....

He's asked questions after practice and after games lately that he hasn't played in..... what exactly do you want him to SHOW YOU at those specific times of answering questions??

Here's another "I hyped Dak up a lot while he was out, but now I'm nervous that he'll look like he did in Week 1" thread.

There's no need to get worried now that the rubber is meeting the road.

What will be will be.

Show me where I hyped up Dak while he was out or expressed concern or doubt for his return??? If you can't show me where I hyped up Dak while he was gone, then can you respectfully explain to us all why you feel comfortable being a liar??? You don't have to lie to be accepted here.

Why would I be worried??? Dak is capable of regaining his top 10 quarterback form, no worries here.

Im sure you're still angry that your Cooper Rush propaganda blew up in your face, but its ok, you'll live. We as Cowboys fans all supported Rush and his best efforts, so will you as a "so-called" Cowboys fan support Dak??

Or will you continue to remain hypocritical and secretly cheer for Dak to have bad games like you've done before?? Cmon bro.... let's cheer for the success of the Cowboys, no matter who's the quarterback. We don't cheer against our own players, correct?

All I said was Dak needs to show me. In other words, I don't care what he says or doesn't say to journalists. Produce on the field and justify your contract.

I definitely agree with you!!! Dak need to get back to the level he's shown he's capable of and surpass that this year.

Speaking of contracts....

Other than maybe Brady and Mahomes, name me the other quarterbacks who are truly "justifying their contracts"???
