I don't see any division rival who improved

The Eagles? please they just finished off blowing up a good team. The Giants? Eli Manning scares noone at this point. The Commanders? Lets not even get into that mess of franchise. The cowboys did nothing yet and are favorites to win division. I would be ok with Jerry, Stephan and Jason just sitting back until players start lowering their demands and pluck some talent.

The Giants will probably be the surprise team in the division and will likely challenge the Cowboys for the division crown.

I could see the Giants being decent... ODB with Cruz worries me a lot, though their defense seems to still be pretty weak.

Every team in the divison has a weak defense, although Philly improved with Maxwell and Alonso, but unless something big happens for them on offense, I don't see them doing much at this point.

If we make an effort to improve our defense, we won't need to worry about our division rivals. I'm not worried about losing Murray. We still have an elite O-line and this draft is loaded with RB talent. I'm worried about the defense. The D-line has been awful the past few years and hasn't gotten any better. The secondary is average at best. And the only position that was a strength, LBer, is becoming depleted. We may go from having 5 solid LBer options to only 2. Improve the defense and we don't have to worry about the division rivals' offenses.

EasyPeasy.

Eagles got WAY better...WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER.

-The most important position on the field is QB...and they went from deer-in-headlights Foles to a legit QB who in Kelly's system could put up SILLY numbers
-They added the guy who was essentially defensive rookie of the year in '13
-They are far from finished, and will get a RB who though perhaps not as talented, will be a better fit.
-Maxwell signing was massive--best FA corner

The Kelly critics are just soiling their pants in embarrassment. Give the man his due. He took a 4-12 team and has been 20-12 despite having NOTHING at QB.

The guy is stellar... just steamrolling...

But hey...go ahead and doubt...People act foolish on the internet everyday.

It just makes me sick that in he's in the City of Brotherly Shove.

Closet iggles fan? Bradford is a mediocre QB when healthy, and is rarely healthy to begin with. I'm more scared of Foles who had a 27 TD, 3 INT season a year ago. Kiko Alonso may be legit, but there are still big question marks about how he will recover from that ACL injury.

I have a feeling Chip Kelly ruined that team and will be back in college football in a couple years

way way way better is a major reach. The eagles do not even know who their running back is yet.

Not so much in the closet, I think.

Way, way, way, way better? They got rid of one of the best backs in the NFL, let one of their best pass rushers walk, and overpaid for what is IMO, the most overrated CB that was in free agency.

All of that a year after letting go one of the best deep threat WR in the NFL... For nothing!

Kiko Alonzo is a pretty solid player but a 34 ILB simply isn't going to impact the game the way McCoy would.

And Sam Bradford? For real? Give up a very solid QB that was costing next to nothing, so they can have Bradford at a high cost? The talent between Foles and Bradford is pretty even and Bradford is going to eat up Philly's salary cap space.

Truly, only an Eagles fan could look at how Kelly has downgraded that roster so much since showing up in the City of Brotherly Love, and think the team got better. Much less "way, way, way, way better."

Maybe Chip Kelly can coach but he isn't very good at the whole decision making thing.

Eagles got rid of a franchise back, traded an efficient QB for an average, often injured QB.

They failed to resign their main WR and simply added a recently injured LB.

The Giants may be better next year, I do think Harris helps their return game and they may use him on offense some with Cruz and OBJ.

It is early yet, so time will tell but Chip is clearly doing it his way.

Hate the Eagles. But I'm a fan of the truth.

He turned a 4-12 team into 20-12 since his arrival—despite no QB. Looks like he ruined it. Sure, makes TOTAL sense.

QB is gone, now have often injured QB that was average when healthy and who is not a scheme fit.

Got rid of franchise back, failed to resign main WR and got an injured LB.

NYG will be better. Gotta believe they will bounce back and not be ravaged by injury on the OL next year. Also Vereen and Harris were nice additions.

Some how, I doubt the Eagles are finished. They are going to try and get Mariota IMO and while that may not help them immediately, it will help them down the road if they are successful IMO.

LOL. Right they picked up an over-rated B.Maxwell and a brittle QB in Bradford who has two ACL's on the same knee in three years. The lost Lesean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Nick Foles, Desean Jackson last year and a 2nd round draft choice.

WAY WAY Worse? Maybe "Better" was a typo.

They are not done but right now was the question.

The question is do they have the ammo to get Mariota, they gave away their 2016 second in this trade?

Clayton thinks the Skins may grab him and I doubt they trade with the Eagles.

Further, the Jets will not pass him by, they would literally have to sell the farm to get him and would not be able to get much else for several years draft wise much like the Skins with RG3.
