I don't see any division rival who improved

We should have higher expectations than being the best team in a mediocre divisiion.....

They are not done but right now was the question.

The question is do they have the ammo to get Mariota, they gave away their 2016 second in this trade?

Clayton thinks the Skins may grab him and I doubt they trade with the Eagles.

Further, the Jets will not pass him by, they would literally have to sell the farm to get him and would not be able to get much else for several years draft wise much like the Skins with RG3.

I am not really sure if they have enough to move up or not. I mean, I don't know that Bradford is a fit for that offense but we'll see I suppose. He may be trade bait, who knows?

I've said it a million times, but the Giants are going to be a force this year.

Some how, I doubt the Eagles are finished. They are going to try and get Mariota IMO and while that may not help them immediately, it will help them down the road if they are successful IMO.
I think they screwed themselves now. I think they could have packaged a deal to the Jets to swap firsts, a second this year and a second next year, and Nick Foles.

Eh, if they have to give up a king's ransom in draft picks to move up to get Mariota, that certainly won't help them build around him in the long run.

Certainly possible Dogunwo. My premise is based on the concept that nobody can be as stupid as what it appears the most recent moves, by Chip and the Eagles, look at this point.

Almost impossible for me to accept on face value. LOL.......

EasyPeasy.

Eagles got WAY better...WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER.

-The most important position on the field is QB...and they went from deer-in-headlights Foles to a legit QB who in Kelly's system could put up SILLY numbers
-They added the guy who was essentially defensive rookie of the year in '13
-They are far from finished, and will get a RB who though perhaps not as talented, will be a better fit.
-Maxwell signing was massive--best FA corner

The Kelly critics are just soiling their pants in embarrassment. Give the man his due. He took a 4-12 team and has been 20-12 despite having NOTHING at QB.

The guy is stellar... just steamrolling...

But hey...go ahead and doubt...People act foolish on the internet everyday.

It just makes me sick that in he's in the City of Brotherly Shove.

You mean he improved the QB position with signing a guy that can't stay healthy and has had one good season. Foles had a great season and isn't as injury prone and they are trading picks. This was not a smart move on Kelly's part and if he wants Mariotta he gave away key pieces to make a trade.

They resigned Brandon Graham which is a good thing if you utilize him properly. His entire career he has been put in situations that don't suite him as a player.

The best thing that happened to Philly was Gore not signing there. Now they will be forced to get a younger back like Spiller who will be more effective or they draft a cheap alternative. I don't give Kelly any credit for this though (he lost gore).

Maxwell is a FA mirage - He is an average corner at best on a great defense. If he is matching up with Dez, Cruz, OBJ it is going to be a long day for him. I am glad they signed him to the contract they did :).

Kelly isn't a mystical unicorn. He is a coach that runs a good offensive system, but puts his defense in a terrible position. The man hasn't won the big game yet and probably never will.

Is this a joke post?

Sarcasm is so difficult to interpret over the internet.

Hate the Eagles. But I'm a fan of the truth.

He turned a 4-12 team into 20-12 since his arrival—despite no QB. Looks like he ruined it. Sure, makes TOTAL sense.

And losing your starting QB, RB, WR, best guard, best cornerback and quality pass rusher is somehow major improvement?!?!?!?

Wow.

They might make more moves, but they're finished.

The Eagles? please they just finished off blowing up a good team. The Giants? Eli Manning scares noone at this point. The Commanders? Lets not even get into that mess of franchise. The cowboys did nothing yet and are favorites to win division. I would be ok with Jerry, Stephan and Jason just sitting back until players start lowering their demands and pluck some talent.

FA has just begun and last time I checked the prediction on Dallas was not that stellar this time last year.

They are about to sign Ryan Williams, so they are now SB contenders

We are going to have big time problems with the Giants offense.

Donnell, Vereen, Cruz, Beckham Jr, Randle.

With no pass rush they may pose an issue.

Ahhhhh..... Bradford is on his contract year.
So even he could walk at the end of the year.

The Giants will probably be the surprise team in the division and will likely challenge the Cowboys for the division crown.

I expect the division to be another dog fight next year with probably 3 teams involved in it.

you must be nut job if you think Eagles got better. They got rid of their 4 most prolific offensive players. Maxwell is overrated and is basically the brandon carr for Eagles (big over-pay for average CB skills). LB could be good but coming off of an injury and sorry but 1 year of productivity is small sample size. Bradford is total joke and huge injury risk. So basically they went from team who was basically a QB away from competing to team that has marginal QB, no RB, no WR and GM who clearly doesn't have a clue to what he is doing. Chip could set that franchise back years.

Is this a joke post?

Sarcasm is so difficult to interpret over the internet.

There always seem to be a wave of the negative posters at this time of year, and continues throughout the offseason.
If things don't go so well, they pump up their chest and say I told you so. If they go well, like last year, they go away, back into the woodwork.
I have noticed 4 or 5 new ones this year so far, or people that haven't posted for a while, because last year was a success.

I don't mind the criticism, if the point is valid, but sometimes it's just overboard. Like last year our LB'er situation was bleak and then Lee went down. So yes, say our LB'er situation sucked. Then McClain was signed and until game one, I would bet 80% was negative trash talk. LB'er turned into a strength. But now it's a big unknown again. So that is a valid point to make.

I am trying not to respond to them as I usually did, but sometimes one just has too...:D
