Let me repeat myself one last time for emphasis.
The Eagles got WAY, WAY, WAY, BETTER! Book it. Write it down. Scan, digitize and print it out. In 3D.
Create a video of it...8K resolution. Put it up on the JerryDome TV.
Look, the Cowboys restraint was best for the franchise's longterm health but their inactivity—and bleeding of talent—reflects their hamstrung budget. The Boy's maneuverability this offseason was crippled by past credit card abuses—always pushing today's debt into tomorrow.
The Eagles, meanwhile, had tons of financial flexibility which afforded them the chance to move as nimbly as they did. Even after their relative binge spending, the Eagles financials are better than the Cowboys. The Romo contract, and it's renegotiations, is going to create mountains of dead money sooner than you want to think about.
Whether Jerry has learned a higher path—or Stephen has him heavily sedated and is acting in his place...the team will continually rise if it continues it's recent spartan approach, though my hunch is that the team is going to be hurting badly over the next 2-3 years.
