I don't think any team can straight up beat us, except the Falcons

Why have they lost 5 games this year?

Atlanta scores a lot but gives up a lot of points. In their 5 losses they gave up 31, 26, 33, 24, and 29 points. Only one loss came by two scores. They lost 33-30 to San Diego, 26-24 to Seattle and 29-28 to KC so they've lost mostly close high scoring games. It usually takes a shootout to be a them. They could very easily have 13-14 wins. They're a very dangerous team and if you can't match TD's with them it's going to be a long day. They've been dominate in their last 3 wins, beating the Rams 42-14, SF 41-13 and Carolina 33-16. They're playing their best football right now. They've had more lopsided wins than we have because they score so many points.

Oh, so they do have flaws!

Defensively they do and you have to take advantage or they'll pull away. They rank 23rd in total defense and are 26th against the pass. They're 17th against the run so they have holes all over their defense which is why they give up so many points. They break a lot but are able to overcome it most of the time because they score so much. Our best defense against them would be to pound Zeke at them and control the ball keeping their offense off the field as much as possible. When they have the ball they're very difficult to stop.

No they don't. You just have a hatred for Dak it's obvious.

Eli - 63% compl, 26 tds, 16 ints, 86.2 qbr
Dak -67.7% compl, 20 td, 4 int, 103.2 qbr.
You are looking at a single season statistic for a dink and dunk quarterback with the best situation in the league vs. a quarterback who has zero running game and a substandard offensive line. Outside of Dallas, you wouldn't find a single soul who would take Dak over Eli in a playoff game. Eli is literally the dictionary definition of a big game quarterback. And this is coming from someone who laughs when Eli is mentioned as a HOFer. But Playoff Eli is a real thing, no matter how much our homer fans want to pretend it's not.
Back under your rock you go, Dak slobberer.

Many probably would take Eli due to his playoff experience/record and two SB wins but it wouldn't be because Dak is the worse QB in the playoffs which was your spin. Dak has had a great season, better than most of the QBs in the league but he lacks experience and that could be a detriment in the playoffs. You're obviously one of those who doesn't like the short passing offense we're using with Dak but it's been effective and it's necessary until he gains more experience. This high percentage passing attack has helped Dak avoid turnovers. He doesn't have a deep threat like OBJ and we can't have him forcing balls down the field to Dez.

Eli is shot. Lucky the Giants didn't draft Prescott before the Cowboys. They would be beating us to death with him for 12 yrs. Thank God almighty we finally have an NFL caliber QB to take the club and fans to the SB.Amen.

Eli is shot.

Eli looked like a bust after the 2007 regular season. He had a 4 INT game that included 3 pick-sixes and had 27 turnovers that season. He had a career low passer rating of 73.9 in which he played a full season. One thing I've learned with Eli is you can never count him or the Giants out. Eli is one of the most resilient QBs I've ever seen. He can stink for a few weeks and then turn it completely around in the playoffs.

Why are some of y'all afraid of Eli? I understand what they've done in the past but have you seen how Eli is playing right now?? He is TRASH and McAdoo isn't much better. Please, send us the Giants for a 3rd time and watch us smack em. They only beat us a few weeks ago because we were in New York. We have home field advantage and don't have to worry about playing in the cold. If I'm afraid of any team it's playing the Commanders again because we've beat them twice narrowly or Green Bay because in my opinion, whoever is playing the best in December is the team to watch out for. Rodgers has thrown 14 TD's and 1 INT in the last like 4 or 5 games if I'm not wrong. But they're defense is missing some key players. If we get healthy on D I think we can run the table. New England's defense is not that good and we control the clock like nobodies business.

Those are some craptastic teams they have beaten the last 3 weeks.

And they beat those teams the way they should have beat them. Atlanta is not a team to be taken lightly.

How do we go from thinking the organization is a dumpster fire to thinking only one team in the NFC can straight up beat us in basically a single season? We could realistically lose to pretty much any team in the NFC playoffs and all it would take is a broken play or three. Which is basically how the Giants swept us, by the way.

Not taking them lightly, just not going to fear them either.

One of those craptastic teams they blew out was SF who had us down by 14 points earlier in the season. We escaped with a 7 point win against them. Tampa certainly isn't any team to fear but we ended up having to hang on for dear life against them. We've been in dogfights the past 4 games, we're just not a dominate team or an explosive team. We use the run and the short passing game to control the ball but we don't create a lot of big plays. We don't have a great defense/pass rush that creates many turnovers and we commit too many penalties that negate good plays. We can be our worst enemy at times. We have some things we have to clean up before the playoffs. We have a very good team but I see things that are concerning.

If Claiborne somehow projects back into week two of the playoffs, the secondary could be up to one of the better in the NFL. That will bode well against any opponent. Then get the defensive line all healthy, with a full showing of both Lawrence and Gregory, and things could get intensely into the advantage of the Cowboys. Playing all home games with a newly invigorated crowd, could be a huge plus for the offense. Dak Prescott has the lowest percentage of dropped balls on catchable throws, in the NFL.

Myself, just give me both Prescott and Dez Bryant fully on the same page...and bring on anyone as an opponent.

Eli Manning in the playoffs and superbowl

17 TDs 8 INTs for 89.3 rating

That's including the 1 year he threw only 1 interception the entire playoffs.

He has games of 0 TDs and 3 INTs and games of 0 TDs and 2 INTs.

Yea eli is such a big time player in the playoffs. Without his defense and running game in those playoffs and the 49ers return man having 2 bounce off his leg for turnovers Eli is worst then any QB in the division

Exactly..........most playoff games come down to two or three plays and the team that makes those two or three plays wins.

Look, pretty much any of the playoff teams can come into AT&T Stadium and beat us just like the Giants did in 2007. The building doesn't win you a game, so just because we got homefield doesn't guarantee anything. As 2007 showed, the number one seed can lose that first game at home.

The bottom line is that we are either good enough to beat teams like the Packers, Falcons, or the Giants, or we are not. If we are good enough, we will win the NFC and go to Houston, if we are not good enough, then we will lose to Aaron Rogers or Matt Ryan or Elli Manning or whoever.
