I don't think Dallas can lose Murray

If anything, I think the last couple of weeks have shown that we can survive without him. He's been pretty ineffective the last couple of weeks, and we haven't missed a beat.

Really? 14 weeks of being pounded with 25+ carries and leads the league in rushing.

Yeah hell have a couple games where he's not gonna bust a hunnerd.

When is enough for some.

Here's a thought....maybe they're saving a couple of his body parts for the playoffs.

I would bet money that we don't re-sign Murray or tag him. He's gone so enjoy him while he is here.

Murray hasn't had a lack of touches. He just hasn't been getting all that much with the touches. And to be fair, it's not really him, it's the running game as a whole. Teams are just playing to stop it now. I just think it's more evidence as to where the real MVP on the team lies. Murray is good, but I think the line and other backs are good enough to be pretty effective (and definitely more explosive) either way. Especially if they don't give the run as much consideration as they do when Murray is in there.

During his contract year Murray plays through injuries. Non contract year these injuries would probably cause him to miss 5-6 games. My suspicion is that if Murray gets the big fat deal he'll go back to being the old Murray and miss games that this year he would not miss. Let some other team deal with that.

I'm really conflicted on Murray. On one hand he is everything Garrett values in a football player; tough, committed, a good citizen, great teammate and talented. On the other hand he could cost a fotune to keep for those vary same reasons and oh yeah he is coming off a 1700+ yard season.
Think they should try to re-sign him, but only if the cap figure is manageable (6mill?) and a term of four year or less. Otherwise, sign Ingram for cheaper or just draft a back and let he, Randle, and Williams battle it out.
