I dont think TO is impressed with Henson

However, with Bledsoe near the end of his career, the Cowboys must decide whether Romo or Henson is their quarterback of the future and Henson's positive performance in NFLE should raise his confidence level entering training camp.

What positive performance...He's on the Bubble.

I am starting to believe Drew may be better off playing else where....

Bledsoe is a good QB, but he like most QBs have their weaknesses. Believe Bledsoe is known for his inability to scramble outside the pocket. But more importantly, how strong is His arm? Can Bledsoe deliver the pigskin to a wide-open TO going deep.

most of us know that there's more to just being able to throw the ball long; especially when the wind is against you. That's one of the reasons TO has complained about Garcia (another QB that does Not have the "deep ball" in his arsenol).

These days with younger, stronger CBs, they are able to get under the ball are are less likely to get beat. Most of the top-ten QBs can deliver the ball deep and accurate, and place the ball in an area where the secondary cannot touch the ball.

Will TO notice the change ...believe someone here has already eluded to the fact that Henson and TO do not gel.

Will TO have to make short routes, and how Long will it take before defensive squads become aware of the deficiency? What's your thoughts?

Bledsoe has a cannon for an arm, even at barely 34 years old...and if he sees a wide open TO downfield you better believe he's going to complete that pass 99.9% of the time. Parcells has already hinted at a change in the offensive philosophy here now that he has all the weapons in place to put on a firework display week after week.

Also as for Bledsoe playing agasint the wind.....he played in New England and Buffalo for 12 years, and has already proven that he is capable of throwing the deep ball against wind and other inclement weather conditions unlike Peyton Manning who has picked up a majority of his yards in the friendly confines of a dome.

Dont allow the yahoos around here form your opinion.

I heard Parcells comments and heard him say that he saw improvement but he still wants to see more.

This in my mind is a far cry from the tripe others around here are peddling.

I thought Bledsoe was washed up before last season. But I will freely admit he proved me wrong and I have little doubt he'll have problems finding TO downfield as long as our O-Line protects him.

Drew: I wonder how long before someone takes that picture and creates a worthless thread about it at the Zone.

Terrell: I love me some me.

Exactly!

Bledsoe has a bigger arm than Donovan. I'd rather have Donovan, but Bledsoe can make any pass TO can wrap his hands around and some he can't.

I stand corrected.

MikeD17 :Terrell Owens thoughts would be , '' I havent seen anyone throw like that since grade school, damn I sure hope this guy is never throwing me the ball''
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
T.O would say. i havent seen anyone through like that since 3rd grade. damn that was the worst 4 years of my life.

I still don't see why people are still defending him. He needs to go back to baseball.

people dont defend him.... they defend their beliefs! they wanted Stoener and Leaf then they wanted Hutch and Henson!

every Henson fan... and I know Chis Rock says never say every but I'm saying every.... "Henson" fan is a product of QC!!!

If the Boys drafted Tom Brady every (90%) Henson/Ranch Heads on this board would laugh at the fact that Henson wants to be a QB after his failure with the Yanks!!!

did Henson even make it to Triple A and if he did... please Ranch Heads give me his Batting average... I just had my House burn down I need a good laugh!!!

Terrell Owens:: Damn that kid can't throw
Drew Bledsoe (whispering):: I bet the ball don't get that far down field.
Drew Henson:: ahhhhhhhhhh! I sure hope this get down field to Skyler Green, but who knows. Damn that kid is fast.

(Song Playing:: I believe in miracles.)

TO was just pulling out a wedgy from his tights riding up.

The level of crap building up around here is getting bad, it is way past time for the forum to get an enema.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that TO is looking at Drew at all in that picture?? To me, it looks like he's looking downfield at the intended receiver...

Agreed. And when was the last time Parcells said he wanted to see more from a player, but couldn't give any idea of just what he was looking to see? That comment in particular sure smacks of a mind-game, to me. Henson's being called out, for sure, but he's not necessarily on the bubble.

Actually, who cares what he looks like delivering the ball ...as long as he delivers the ball.

For example ...

Umm...It was a joke in the context of this thread. I'm pro-Henson (and my caption actually reflects that in the latter phrase) and don't really care what he throws like, as long as he delivers the ball accurately, on time, and to the right receiver.
