The guy looked good, but from that game lastnight I don't take him at 14... He didn't standout to me.
SDogo;4355778 said:I'm not even sure where to start then.
I guess he did not catch a TD pass or make a long run but he played damn near a perfect game.
BrAinPaiNt;4355831 said:Agreed. I seen him pulling, walling off defenders, knocking guys back, being strong against defenders.
I think I recall seeing one play where a defender split between him and a tackle to get to luck but I don't know who had responsibility on the defender on that play but even if he did it was the only thing I recall that looked bad.

Tobal;4355884 said:Ok we are talking about the 14th pick in the draft. I thought he was good, several times I didn't like his reaction to delayed blitz, and stunts. Brain you pointed out one of those times. I thought he was good, and I thought he got better in the 2nd half.
Hepulled well looked like as atheletic as a tight end pulling and walling off guys.
I guess I'm just expecting someone to physically dominate and I sure did not see that. I realize he's a different type of lineman than I'm used to seeing.
I need to see him against some big guys with power
SDogo;4355901 said:I honestly can't make out what your talking about and this is not a homer thing nor do I have any vested interest in the guy.
There were several times he took on two defenders because either his OC or OT took the wrong read on a blitz.
I have watched the play Brain talked about and it does appear to be DeCastro's responsibility on the play but so be it. Show a perfect game by anyone.
Are far as physically dominating, he recorded 13 PC blocks in the game. That's about as close to domination as it gets.

I agree on all of them.Doomsday101;4355995 said:As I said he would be one of the 3 guys at this stage I would like to have the others are OLB Melvin Ingram the other CB Dre Kirkpatrick
Dash28;4356020 said:I agree on all of them.
As of right now, i'm looking at DeCastro, Ingram, Kirkpatrick and Claiborne.
Phrozen Phil;4356029 said:The left side of Stanford's O-Line has scouts drooling. The Left Tackle, Jonathan Martin, is also a first round prospect. He had a great year last year, and only a good year this year. Both Martin and DeCastro will be first year starters in the NFL. Martin might even be drafted before DeCastro.
It's too early to know that to be exact.Doomsday101;4356034 said:Morris Claiborne? Good luck with that he is a top 5 to 6 pick.

More than likely he probably is but to say it's a lock is premature.
I can still hold out hope, right?![]()
SDogo;4355848 said:Yup, in the last 2 minutes of the game, I have it recorded but I remember it being one of the last plays before OT.
