You should only be mad if you thought they would actually win this game. Superior front office builds a championship roster. Superior coaching staff makes a game plan to win with average rookie QB. The better run franchise won the game. That will continue to happen as it has for nearly three decades.

This is as good as it's gonna get for the Dallas Cowboys. Were a team that real teams beat on their way to championships. Were a stepping stone. A latter rung. Something along their way to add to their highlight film at the end of their championship season.

Do you mind losing? I was in elementary school the last time the Cowboys went to a NFC Championship game and I’m 37. Is that ok with u? Are proud of that fact? They managed to beat an 45 year Tom Brady (and an aging Tampa team) on the road in a wildcard playoff game. Is that equivalent to winning a super bowl for you?

Because if it is, good for you. The Jones family appreciates fans like you and wish there were many more of you.

People are mad because the defense played more than well enough to win. The offense crapped the bed on account of pretty awful play calling and horrible decisions by the QB. The "strength" of the team failed and couldn't score anything more than what the worst team in the league would have.

As a young fan, that may be. However, I'm taking it a different way. I think that there are a few areas to fix, but we went further despite less at WR than last year. I think that Maher's accuracy issues changed the course of the game. If he's more reliable, I think 1 we take momentum after the TD, and 2, Dak wouldn't have to force things due to lack of trust at kicker. So, if we can fix that area, perhaps we don't force things too much. Then, at NT. We stopped the run better, but that's an area to add depth to behind Hankins. I think Bland will be better next year. I think we will get a WR in the offseason to help. So, no, the season didn't end how we wanted, but I think this season can be a catalyst for better things next season.

What am I supposed to do? Change teams? Constantly be miserable? No. I'm going to try to look at the positives. Yes, things didn't go well. Yes, it is another season without seeing us in the NFCC. However, you know what? We did things this season that I've never seen us do in good ways. It's a painful loss. Very painful. However, I can be upset but proud at the same time. I'm proud of how the team fought considering the adversity. This was the best season I've seen since becoming a Cowboys fan in the 1999/2000 season.

Yup. It's not a horrible organization but one with a hard ceiling due to Jones family and Dak.

When you were a kid playing sports and your team finished 4th place out of six teams don't you remember how good you felt when you went to the end of year party and all the kids on the team got their consolation trophies for playing you were in hog heaven.
