Dak is not ending his career here. He is not being signed for another extension.
Sure he will. He'll have a good season in his contract year and Jerry will sign him again.

Lol.
Seriously though, we do this every time in the playoffs. We face real teams that are run like real teams. What do you expect?
This is as good as it's gonna get for the Dallas Cowboys. Were a team that real teams beat on their way to championships. Were a stepping stone. A latter rung. Something along their way to add to their highlight film at the end of their championship season.
I don't understand how people can think this Dallas Cowboys team, run by Jerry Jones and his family will ever actually win it all.
Why would we be mad??? Maybe a 30 year drought. Is that enough. I guess not. Maybe a 40 year drought will make you mad.

What am I supposed to do? Change teams? Constantly be miserable? No. I'm going to try to look at the positives. Yes, things didn't go well. Yes, it is another season without seeing us in the NFCC. However, you know what? We did things this season that I've never seen us do in good ways. It's a painful loss. Very painful. However, I can be upset but proud at the same time. I'm proud of how the team fought considering the adversity. This was the best season I've seen since becoming a Cowboys fan in the 1999/2000 season.
You've been a fan for 20+ years and you're still optimistic? Here's the limit of my optimism. I watched the snow game and, when the Dallas game started, I turned off the TV and took a nap.

I'm a fan who hasn't seen us get beyond the division round. However, I'm taking some positives from the season. There were a lot of good things that happened. Maybe not optimistic, but I'm not deflated about the season or am going to stop being a fan. I'm disappointed, but I see positives to take.

I don't know how anyone can look at this year as a step forward. That's called blind optimism. The Cowboys in the divisional round have stubbed their toes since what.....07? That's as far as I can remember.

It was year 7 for the QB and had an opportunity right there in front of him. Defense played at a championship level. He could’ve just played mediocre with no turnovers and we win this.

Because defense and the ST played good enough to win but the OC and the QB crap the bed once the Plan A was ruined by an injury.
It looked like they didn't have a viable Plan B and failed miserably.

Winning a road playoff game to me is a step forward. Let's face it. This was an Everest-sized mountain to climb. This team had to go from Florida to California to Pennsylvania to get to the SB. That's a very long trek. Let's face it, we probably would've lost to Philly anyway. But, with a good draft, I think this season can be used to improve our future given that the team can now claim a road playoff win for the first time in 30 years.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^
1000%
We have a fan running this team while other teams have professionals.
Is it any surprise we are at 28 years and counting?

Well said and the reality. Jerry is a step behind the top owners and the Cowboys are as well.

Yeah... all this same team needs is face and beat 3 mediocre record losing teams with 45 yrd old QBs and make it to the SB baby!! whoohooo..

Did Cowboys and Dak beat Tom Brady? or did they beat Tampa Bay (who by the way played like garbage)? Because if this Team did beat Tom Brady then just lost to some rookie who was the last player to be drafted... lets process that.

Of course some will say Dak beat Tom Brady last week and Dallas lost to SanFran today... SMH
