I don't understand why people are mad

I am not really mad. This team went farther than I ever thought they would. But this game was eye opening. The question is now that we lost, where do we go from here. I think they have some tough decisions ahead. I think they may have to take a step back to take a few steps forward. I think our QB showed he limit tonight. This is as far as the Cowboys will go with him. That's not good enough. Nothing to be mad about or disappointed. I mean we wish Dak was smarter, and better, but he isn't. So why drag this out anymore? The Cowboys made a mistake giving him $40 million so now they need to start thinking about getting out of that deal. Same with Zeke. You don't pay a RB $15 million per year to gain 1 yard.

They are putting something good together on defense but the defense played as well as could be expected tonight and they still lost. Because the QB gave away 6 points and missed a few opportunities to move the football deep into 49ers territory. I want a QB who give me his best every time he takes the field. Instead we have a QB who tantalizes us with a great performance against a weaker team then folds when he is needed most. He can apologize and promise to better after all his failures but he has no control over his mistakes anymore. He is not going to get better, he is going to regress more. He is Donovan McNabb.

Let's take the CAP him in 2023, clear out the dead wood and in 2024 make a concerted effort to build a roster like the Eagles did. Maybe we draft high in 2024 and find that QB of the future.

Think about the wild card wins they have too…

TB that didn’t belong in the playoffs
PHI who aging and we owned that season
DET… lol

Shouldn't be mad.......nothing going to change. Zeke will be gone, but everything else will stay the same. Jerry will not see another Super Bowl team. Stay tune for some new mantra..."Secret Juice" or something and another appearance on Hard Knocks.

Exactly, this was an improvement over last. I'm feeling encouraged. If we can fix a few areas, I think we will be able to go further.
You do realize he was being sarcastic? But yeah we did improve, but the point is the culture of this team needs to be changed and not sure it can with Jerry & Family running the show

Not mad at all, exactly what I predicted for the year prior to Week 1. Expect more of the same next year. Don’t let yourself get pulled in. It is what it is.

I think Mike McCarthy is changing it. This team has shown a different attitude than it did with Garrett. I think this team showed more resilience than it used to have.

Jerry said the team was constructed off the loss to San Fran last year. They still lost in the trenches and Dak looked worse in this game than last years

28 years, I'll be dead before they win anything. Same crap different year
Exactly. It’s unreal how us cowboy fans are waiting 28 years. We have a $50,000,000 running back that does absolutely nothing, a $100,000,000 terrible QB and one WR. What a joke.

I hate myself for believing
This right here...tbh I felt numb most of the season until we beat TB in the playoffs; the wins and good record felt hollow throughout. So about one week of fan "spark" was buzzing before realizing the team really isn't run well enough to go any further watching yesterday.

Everyone (FO/Coaches/Players) are all waiting for someone else to make the break to get them to the next level. "Who's going to surprise us into a win?" Very little looks intentionally developed or schemed with a purpose (Quinn can give this vibe @times to give him some credit).

Micah and to a lesser extent Pollard was the "Surprise us" factor yesterday and most of the season to make us feel this time was different. We have a plan, etc.

I got sucked in again too!

Just stop it. They played a great team on the road that they weren’t expected to beat, and they didn’t. Their defense kept them in it until the end. The other team has a top defense and gets paid also. You people sound more like the Cowboys haters than fans. Only one team can win every week, and this wasn’t our week. You can’t keep putting 27 years worth of hard feelings on this team.

It's the new way to tackle in order to injure a player. It's almost as bad as the horse collar. If Pollard had not gone out, we would have had a much better chance to win. He was running all over SF and our oline was doing a good job.

This was one of our better seasons. We finally won a road playoff game and finally beat Tom Brady. We improved.
Lol.
Seriously though, we do this every time in the playoffs. We face real teams that are run like real teams. What do you expect?
This is as good as it's gonna get for the Dallas Cowboys. Were a team that real teams beat on their way to championships. Were a stepping stone. A latter rung. Something along their way to add to their highlight film at the end of their championship season.
I don't understand how people can think this Dallas Cowboys team, run by Jerry Jones and his family will ever actually win it all.
We won a playoff game against a team that was 8-9 in the regular season and decimated by injury. Big deal
