I havn't changed my mind not one damn bit. I hate that punk. Always have and always will. The fact that he used to wear the helmet of our most hated rivals. The fact that he disrespected the franchise, the legacy, and the fans when he disrespected the star is the thing that I will remember him for the most. I can't stand the guy. I wish he would just dissapear. Most of you are going to bash me and tell me to get over it. First, I will never get over it. Second, I don't care if you bash me cause I really don't give a damn. Anymore than T.O. cares about anything I say.

He sort of won me over when he treated the kids we sent to his first football camp so well. Then I began to see the way the media would manipulate anything to create a story where there was none. What clinched it for me was Parcells' refusal to use his name and him not over reacting to it.

I agree with Jack that I would not buy his jersey (I don't buy any except original Cowboys with 2 exceptions), but I have grown to really like him.

Out of curiosity, what are the two exceptions?

Star.

Teaching your son to take pride in your team and stand by them through thick and thin. Not just jumping on the wagon and going with the trend.

Supporting #81 would've been hopping on the bandwagon. He was teaching the kid a lesson. He can take pride in the team but he doesn't have to look up to the likes of Adam Jones, right?

TO is the man. Obviously, the star diss made him public enemy number one in my eyes. But it's all gravy right now. I don't think he really needs my "forgiveness" nor do I think he owes me some kind of apology.

Just win TO...just win.

Some here may remember that when we signed Terrell Owens that I was one of the ones who was dead set against it. I said that I would not purchase any Cowboys apparel as long as he was on the team. And after his first year here with the bicycle outfit in training camp and the "accidental overdose" incident I was convinced that I was right in my conviction that signing him was the wrong thing to do.

Well, I have changed my mind. We have had two years now with no controversy that was not created by the media trying to find some. Owens has been a model citizen and by all accounts a great teammate. Therefore, I have rescinded my moratorium on Cowboys purchases. Though I still won't by an 81 jersey I have decided to go ahead and purchase a Marion Barber and a Tony Romo jersey.

I know the hardliners like you would eventually come around.... That #81 would look really good on you.

Actually.. forget the jersey. I prefer his i line of clothing.

I'm not sure when he exactly won me over, but as much as I couldn't stand him with Philly, I felt from the very beginning what Philly was doing was stupid and there was no reason for it, except for greed. They had the salary cap room, he greatly outplayed his contract, he greatly improved their offense and made a legendary comeback at the Super Bowl.

He helped himself mainly through the media's unwillingness to take a look at how dumb and greedy the Eagles were in the process and trying to start a mess with him and Parcells. Perhaps the drug overdose deal did it for me, as the media's unprofessionalism and incompetence basically threw his publicist under the bus (who was actually telling the truth) and when the media was proven to look like imbeciles, they put the blame on the Dallas Fire and Rescue department.

With that being said, I can't say I'm surprised the media brings this up even though it happened 3 years ago.

Ah. Not everyone.

I dont buy that any Cowboy fan has a jaded view of him.

You love you some TO and you know it.
With respect, that's naive.

Terrell Owens is a premier wide receiver. His talent is unquestionable. He has been an incredible asset to the team. He will be a key component of this team's drive for a Super Bowl championship.

But if people believe that he will EVER 'win' me over, you're smoking some serious

Can a mod set up one of those PayPal accounts?

I would like to bet anyone on or off this board ANY amount that I will EVER say anything remotely like "I forgive Terrell Owens" or "I love me some Terrell Owens".

Answer me one thing. I promise that I won't debate your answer.

Do you really believe that?

That's it. I promise I won't argue with your answer at all. Just curious.
