Ewers is probably a top-10 pick in most drafts, but a bit later in this QB class. He makes a lot of NFL throws look real easy, even when his feet aren't great.

He needs to get smarter and just be better at playing quarterback, but has a high enough ceiling to go round 1.
He really does. It's his injury prone ways that bother me.

Ewers is really raw. Much more than Josh Allen was. He is a runner more than passer. I want Hartman. Let him sit a year behind Dak, then start him. Heck, maybe have him see if he can beat Dak out year 1. Then we might have trade bait with Dak.

Ewers is a runner? It can be misleading because college football counts sacks as rushing attempts, but Ewers has 64 rushing attempts for 1 yard in his short college career. He is a decent athlete, but I don't see him as a runner at all. I agree he is really raw. He has only started 18 games. He probably has 3 or 4 starts left this season. Maybe more if they make the playoffs. Anyway, only starting 22 or so games makes me wary of using a first round pick on a QB. I prefer QBs that have had more playing time than that. They don't need to be a four year starter, but more experience is always a good thing.
