I Get To Brag on Baylor, Lone School Ranked in All Three Major Sports At Present

with RC Slocum the other night, begging the tv audience to recognize they will not geographically be leaving.

Seriously?!?! He had to explain to the Aggies they weren't physically moving? I bet half the stadium went home after the loss and unpacked :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Joke...

I think it's a shame the way everyone picks on Aggies. After all it was an Aggie engineer that invented the toilet seat.

Of course a UT engineer stole the design and cut out a hole in the middle ...

Since when is women's basketball a major sport? It's barely a sport at all.

Haha.

I was thinking......"they rank college baseball"?

They actually do rank college baseball, and college baseball is far more popular than women's basketball.

Anybody who tries to argue WBB is a major sport is just wrong. It operates in the red at every single school, even the ones who sell out most of their games. The only sports that make money are football and men's basketball, with baseball breaking even at most of the schools in the south where it is big.

I've never understood the "Aggies are stupid" jokes. They never made sense, we went from being essentially a military academy to a world class academic institution. We're one of the few land, air and sea grant universities in the country. Only two schools, public or private, in the nation have had more research published since 1970 and they are named Harvard and Yale. A&M grads have the fourth highest starting salary among public university graduates in the country. A&M puts more undergrad students in medical and law school every year than any school in the state, and the second most in business school behind Texas.

Someone from Baylor like Aikbach running academic smack to A&M grads (or Texas grads, for that matter) is laughable. A&M is ranked higher in every tangible research and undergrad academic category, and Baylor's sole claim to fame, their medical school, isnt even affiliated with them anymore.

You really do have an extraordinary inferiority complex.

There is no point in arguing, he perpetuates lies and bashes TAMU with them. His jealousy of TAMU leaves him blind to the truth that the Big 12 is losing a good program and replacing it with average programs.
You whine about being picked on but never justify any of your moaning. And LOL that A&M is a good program, don't mistake BIG for good, going from Number #7 to 6-6 with supposed 11-1 talent is hardly "good", and for a decade you've claimed to be on the brink of dominance and find a new excuse every year.

A&M is currently undefeated against Baylor in every sport played to this point. Expect the domination to continue :laugh2:

Hmmm, it's hardly "demeaning" to outrank you in every sport...and actually graduate athletes.

Enjoy the off season and irrelevance in texas, you're simply not a part of the state anymore, toodles.

You mean every sport that you find important enough to count :laugh2: I assume tennis is on your list as well. We beat you in football, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. It will be sad to see this one-sided rivalry end.

A&M outranks Baylor in baseball. Much like A&M in football, Baylor will undoutably underachieve with their great talent in basketball. It's amazing how the roles reverse in that sport. Scott Drew couldnt coach the '96 Bulls to an NCAA Title.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with regards to graduation rates. A&M has excellent graduation rates in the non-revenue sports, and all major public programs traditionally have less than stellar football and basketball graduation rates because of players who leave school early and the big money players focus on at the next level.

This matters more to you than it does to any Aggie. The only people in texas I care about are the recruitsm and the early feedback is very positive with regards to the move. Five recruits to our current class have publically said the SEC move was a deciding factor for them. All five also have offers from Tech and Baylor, among others.

Ah yes, the annual hype them up recruitment class begins, will be the usual hoot to watch them disappoint.

Back to the insults after getting schooled on reality. You are so predictable.

Bah means no, your school is an insult and the manner by which you speak to people incites the treatment you get, don't act butt hurt when you're the initial troll.

You keep ignoring arguments once they have been discredited

An insult to what exactly? Your ego?

You were discredited long ago, I'm entertaining myself at this point, thanks for playing.

You still havent explained why I'm suppose to care about being "alienated" by Texas, Tech and Baylor.

There's the go to move. Facts be damned.

He's right. One common attribute among A&M fans is their constant need to place themselves above others based on the reputation of their academia and mediocrity in just about every sports category. Doesn't stop them from trying and put down others though. Is "How to be an obnoxious Aggie butthole 4301" a required course?

Your athletics are overrated and you're a B school that has a few decent majors. Cut the crap.
