This team is good.I forgot, the regular season is how you judge teams.

Start popping off the teams with amazing depth at oline?Defense looks good. Quinn has earned my trust. But this offense? Man, there are just too many question marks to feel good heading into this season:
1. Questionable OL depth, and now Zack Martin drama
2. Questionable RB depth behind Pollard who has questions about carrying a full time load and recovering from an injury
3. Gallup has questions about his recovery from last year
4. Questionable WR depth behind Lamb and Cooks
5. No proven TE1 and a gimpy 2nd round TE with plenty of questions
6. New offensive scheme and play-caller who ended with huge question marks his last couple years in that role
7. Nothing but questions at kicker
8. Big questions around Dak bouncing back from last year, and being able to deliver in big moments
Every year there are a few questions— but damn, there are too many for me to feel anything but uneasy as we roll towards Sept
Yeah, figures you think that way. You're like Ricky Bobby, if you ain't first, you're last. I still don't get why you and you're burner accounts still hang out here with your Sirianni avatar if you're that miserable. Can't enjoy the game because your hate and negativity consumes you. Well, whatever floats your boat, Sirianni.Aikman and Staubach are the only QBs that should ever have earned Cowboys fans trust.
Pretty much like every team in the league, unless you had Brady or now have Mahomes.Let the games begin.
I feel the same every season.
Hope for the best.
But expect the same end result.
I'll put it this way. I will not be emptying my bank account to place a huge bet in Vegas that the Cowboys win the Super Bowl this year. I would love for that to happen, but I'm not holding my breath. What I really think will happen is that the team will Jeckyl and Hide it all year long. They'll look great one week and then will look like a bunch of scrubs the next. They'll finally finish slightly above .500 and out of the playoffs.Defense looks good. Quinn has earned my trust. Don't take this the wrong way, but are you drunk? We are as deep at RB as we have ever been, and possibly as deep as any team in the NFL. The one guy they end up cutting will be a starter on whatever team signs him.
See, you think trusting proven winners is miserable while I think putting faith in losers is miserable.Yeah, figures you think that way. You're like Ricky Bobby, if you ain't first, you're last. You are right, I'm not an Eagles fan.See, you think trusting proven winners is miserable while I think putting faith in losers is miserable.
We’re not on the same team, Ranch.
Jimmy had Babe Laufenberg who was the worst qb that I have ever seen on the Cowboys.Jimmy would have cut Kellen his first camp as a player cause he was doodoo, and he never would have been the OC, ever. Ever. I'm so glad we might actually have a real fullback this year. Martin knows we are about to pound the rock like it's 1993, and he's trying to get a cash advance, Jerrah knows this.
Jimmy had Babe Laufenberg who was the worst qb that I have ever seen on the Cowboys.
Laufenberg was Rhome's boy, notice how he was cut in 91 once it became clear he wasn't fit to hold a clipboard...
This is how any reasonable fan should be given our history the last 27 years.Let the games begin.
I feel the same every season.

Instead of your usual “let’s attack the guy” instead of debating the argument, why don’t you use that little walnut inside your skull and tell us how we are not.Don't take this the wrong way, but are you drunk?
There are no questions about Dak. What is he bouncing back from?Defense looks good. Quinn has earned my trust. But this offense? Man, there are just too many question marks to feel good heading into this season:

Again; y’all are stuck in 1990s football where guy value the RB position to be more valuable than what it is. How do you know the backups can’t produce a league average 3.3 yards per carry? How do you know Duece will breakdown, he played four years in a power 5 conference? And which team has more than one pro bowl RB. We aren’t paying the position group 20 a year regardless of what you want. It’s not that important. As deep at RB as anyone in the NFL? Really? Pollard is awesome when he is 100%, but he is carrying the load for the first time and he didn’t have to worry about the “dirty” yards much last year bc Zeke was the short yardage back. I am concerned about Deuce’s durability at this level— and Jones and Davis are JAGs at this point. I fail to see this stellar RB room you are so excited about.
I don’t have the same level of confidence at WR as you do. You clearly love the TC flash players. Fehoko flashed last TC and did jack squat in the season. Until Tolbert, Fehoko, and anyone else steps up as a solid depth player that can produce when needed— we are one injury away from being right back where we were last year. So yes, WR depth is an issue
Dak is a solid QB IMO— but when we have needed him to win big games, he has disappeared. Beating a lowly TB team last year was fun, but let’s not pretend that was a “good” team. That was a joke of a playoff squad and only the TB12 made it remotely interesting (though I am sooooo glad we finally beat him like drum). Dak is 30 and his legacy is in question. Now is when he needs to play his best. Is he capable of playing like an elite QB? At times— absolutely. But he is inconsistent and his track record in the playoffs speaks for itself.
I hope you’re right and everything is great— but I just see some warning signs on offense.
Babe Laufenberg was the QB coach Rhome's boy and he was cut in 91 as soon as it became clear he wasn't fit to hold a clipboard. I'd be willing to bet Jimmy was the one who made that decision.Jimmy had Babe Laufenberg who was the worst qb that I have ever seen on the Cowboys.
More than 20 of those years have nothing to do with the current team. A reasonable fan would look at the last 2 years and see that the current team is improved over those 12 and 13 win teams. This is how any reasonable fan should be given our history the last 27 years.

After the way it ended in the playoffs the last 2 years, I don't know how anyone can be that optimistic of this offense. There are a lot of question marks. And every year we hear fans say calm down. Not once in January or February do I hear these same fans say see I was right. Just once I'd like to hear that.More than 20 of those years have nothing to do with the current team. A reasonable fan would look at the last 2 years and see that the current team is improved over those 12 and 13 win teams.
Kicker is something to be concerned with but the main issue with this team should be the OL.If they are not at their best then that affects Dak and thats when we get deer in headlights version. Hes not good enough to make up for their shortcomimgs. I think we got better better with receivers and as odd as some may seem the RB room is more talented now.Defense looks good.
