I hate them with a passion but I can get over their Superbowl victory.

If the Patriots win we are going to have to hear how this is the greatest team ever for the rest of our lifes.

Someone will always throw them in the equation.

The legend will continue to grow and all of a sudden they will end up having the greatest dynasty of all time even though their other Superbowl teams dont hold a candle to some of the other teams in the past.

I hate the Giants. I dislike Eli. I cant stand Plaxico. Im so glad I dont have to hear anything from that POS Shockey, but I can get over it.

I pretty much agree with this...........I can't see them losing though - in fact, as I have stated multiple times, I think they are gonna kick the snot out of the Giants.

Agreed.

No elements to help the Giants and I have a feeling the Giants will come out all jacked up going crazy and the Pats will calmly act like they've been there and dominate them from the get go.

Osi and Mike Strahan have to have a monster game to win but I think the Pats are going to throw it all over the place in 70 degree weather.

I hate the fact the Giants have so many big mouthed players, but i just can't root for the Pats.

I would really hate to see Eli get a ring before Tony. And it has a lot to do with the paths both QB's have taken to get to the NFL. Tony, undrafted and finally getting his shot. Eli, 1st rounder, with Archie wanting Eli to stay away from the smaller market Chargers.

Yeah but at the end of their careers Tony Romo is most likely going to have a better career.

Eli manning is going to be a 230 yard 2 TD a game type QB his entire career I believe.

Either way it will be easier than explaning to some 17 year old 17 years from now on this message board how that Patriots team wasn't the greatest team of all time.

I am in a dilemma -- I'm stuck living right outside Albany, NY where the Giants have training camp so I have a lot of hate in that aspect of them winning and all the hoopla that would occur but being about 45 minutes to Massachussetts(4 hrs to Boston) there is quite a bit of Patriot love up here, too.

The only win for me is if both teams lost or if Brady and Eli both broke their legs (along with the rest of their teammates)

The Pats are cheaters, and the Giants are loud mouth trash talkers. I couldn't care less who wins.

As far as watching "history" occur with the Pats 19-0 record, I couldn't care less either. Their season is tainted to me, so it will be irrelevant to me, as well as to a lot of people I know, despite the propaganda machine's full forced indoctrination to elicit it's standard agendized Pavlovian response.

I will root for neither team nor watch a single snap of the Superbowl. Why? Because both teams do absolutely nothing for me and I could care fricken less what happens. I do not cheer for any other team than the Cowboys, F the rest of em!

I agree totally. Brady and Belichick are already so arrogant it's pathetic. If they win we'll never hear the end of it. I hate those two more than I hate the Giants. Then you add in Harrison, Seymour, Brushci, Wilfork and the rest of those punks and it's no contest for me.

I'm going for the Giants because I get tired of hearing that the AFC is the dominate conference. I think a Giants win will show many that the NFC East is no cake walk and lastly Giants as the underdog plays a part why I will be pulling for them. Unlike most around here I do have respect for the job both teams have done.

Its going to be bad.

If the 90's Cowboys just so happened to be a East Coast team they would be known as the Greatest team of all time with the Media.

Instead when I look at some greatest teams list I see stupid crap like the 1994 49ers ahead of all of the Cowboys 90's teams.

This is just a recipe for a never ending food that tastes like crap.

Don't really care for either teams, but some "off the wall" pondering has me rooting for the Patriots.
If Patriots win: Paves a road for us next year. Patriots will be satisfied and hopefully wore out from a 18-0 run. Note: I'm trying to ignore that Miami came back and won a super Bowl the following year. :D
If they Lose: More determination/Chip to come back just as strong next year.
If Giants win: Tremendous confidence to a young team.
If Giants Lose: Hopefully, fat cat syndrome kicks in. ie, Bears, Panthers, Eagles or pretty much any Super Bowl loser of the 2000's.

Silly Musings, but I'm trying to find something to root for.:laugh2:

Patriots are going to be in a position to win the Superbowl for the next 5 years because they play in the AFC East aka the worst division in football.

Whew, not me. If the Patriots were going for #6...maybe. I can't root for any NFC East team.

I can't root FOR the NJFG, but I can certainly root AGAINST the Pats...

Thanks a lot, now I guess I'll go fishing. :laugh2:

I think they'll always be in position with Brady, but will they have the passion, drive for a fifth ring after this grueling season.

It will be better for us all if it is a tie......and 40 overtimes and the commish calls it a tie!

News flash. They ARE in the equation.

It's not a slight to us that they be added in there. Their "dynasty" is already in the conversation as greatest ever. But we're in there too. It's just another added to the group. They still don't have 5 Lombardis. As long as we're first to 6, I'm happy.
