Living in NYC and not watching any pro football programs or listening to the radio sucks but I refuse to have to listen or watch any of this NY Giants crap that can only go away with a big victory by the Pats!!! These Giants fans are still smirking about the victory over us and they are playing in the Super Bowl!!!

Please god of earth, wind and fire. Please give all the power to the Patriots so that they may steam roll the Giants and send them home quickly. I will then again listen to the radio to hear all of their fans sulk in what could have been but should have never been...

The Giants are the best team in the NFC right now. They are in the Superbowl. Unless you want to see the AFC win, you should be rooting for the Giants.
Whether you like them or hate them, you have to admire the way they got here. They beat all of the NFC conference leaders. All of the hate on this message board is really masked jealousy.

I've been listening to how they have played three spectacular games and how Elly is now a quality QB and that their corners are playing lights out football.

Lately I cant stand them with Tiki Shockey and Dopey but historically I dont hate them. I used to like to watch them when i was a kid and thats kind of carried over.

I HATE these patriots. Between the coaching staff that gets away with cheating, cheapshotting defense and the smarmy offense I just want them to lose.

There is more "affect" for me, living in NY and the other reasons I mentioned above that I would rather the Giants lose.

For me if the Giants lose... then the smack talk is much less... less significant and will fade rather quickly. If they get beatdown - even better.

If they win... then it will be hell up here for atleast a year... maybe more if we keep falling in December.


Like Sarge... I expect them to lose... lose big time.... but I expected us to beat the Giants and the Packers. I then expected the Packers to whip the Giants. So.... who knows...

Ummmm.. I don't think so. I don't know if you are from NY or not but to live among the Giant fans truely sucks. As far as being jealous, my hate for the Giants is no more or less than it was since the first game this season, all of last year, the year before that, the decade before that, the Parcell years with the Giants etc... I really hate the team, the fans and I actually still refuse to watch ESPN ever since we lost to them this year.

Giving the Giants props is like asking a Boston Red Sox or Yankee fan to root for the winning team in the World Series.

So, if it is not your team, you can't give them props? That is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. You should spend more time understanding the game and how a team works. The Giants put together the right environment to get them past our team and the others. They might not have the talent we have, but that is meaningless without a team mentality. I'd sooner stand in the middle of NC Expressway during rush hour dodging cars than cheer for any Giants accomplishment.

Not saying they don't deserve it...just that I'm NOT cheering about it.

And one good thing is that team will NOT repeat as champions.
