Well........Drew Henson and I disagree..........

"This is my first major injury and it's been a while since I've been questionable for a game. This is not a position that you want to be in, but right now that's the way it is. Before the game I was a planning a trip to go to Prague. Out of all the places in Germany, that's the one I wanted to see the most, but when I got injured it cancelled that. On our off day I was here getting treatment from the doctor, so that was scratched. I really haven't had a chance to do any thing for a week. I've been basically chained to the hotel....................................."

At Michigan Henson broke a bone in his foot. He missed 1 or 2 games in which Navarre started. But Henson mentioned the Knee injury is the 1st major injury............which is common sense for those who know that a broken bone in the foot is minor compared to any ligament sprain or tear in the knee.

Parcells didn't consider last years hand injury worth mentioning in any of his assesments of Henson, therefore I chalk it up to bumps and bruises that 90% of the NFL players deal with throughout a season. Parcells wouldn't let a player compete if he thought that an injury would affect their performance. That would be sabotaging a player.

Parcells wouldn't sabotage Henson. Why would he? Henson was fine last year in camp. He was well enough compete, thats why his pedigree won't let him use the bump or bruise on his hadn as an excuse like some of his fans do.

maybe - but they normally fall into "the game" so quickly.

and i go against the general opinion all day long and i can do it w/o TRYING to rile people up - such as these people do.

I'm not one to call for such things, normally, in fact I can't remember ever calling for such a thing on any board I've ever participated on, but I wish this "Answer" nonsense would be stopped by the Mods. It is obvious to anyone paying attention that this is Nors or Bledstudsoe4, or one of the banned guys just coming back under another gloss. It is quite annoying.

in time i'll either get there and you'll see or i won't and maybe you were right all along. : )

Where did I say Parcells would sabotage Henson? In fact when people say Parcells doesn't like him I am one of the first to disagree and call it foolish.

The tangents you take off on are unreal.

Based your reply I'll assume you've conceded the injury point.;)

You didn't say Parcells would sabotage.........Alow me to explain.

You mentioned Henson was injured last year. I say he wasn't, because if he indeed got injured (as you have claimed) in training camp and the coaching allowed him to compete then infact then they did sabotage Henson.

Anyway, I am not surprised you'd have to go off on the sabotage tangent, because if you stuck to the topic "Seriousness of the injury" you'd be owned;)

The injury has been mentioned several times. I'm not revealing anything not know.

You yourself mentioned the Michigan injury.

What do you think I conceded exactly? I said he'd been injured before. Can you read?

I do not consider them keeping quiet about his injury sabotage. I call it molding. The same way Petitti played hurt and will be better for it. The same way Julius was. It's nothing new under the sun.

and if you'd quit making up the "other" side to these arguments just so you can get a good "owning" in despite it NEVER being said by the other person...

nevermind. it probably won't happen. takes being reasonable before you can do that.

Well you see, if you post enough smiley/laughing icons around your post, like someone said here, you can insults someone's mother and pretend that you were just kidding or you were not serious. Or you can keep pretending there is no agenda, despite what you posted says to the contrary. ;)

Since The Answer has been posting here he has come to understand that if you say anything that's perceived as 'negative' against the golden boy than you are deemed a 'troll', 'hater', or have an 'agenda' by the eyes of the Henson faithful, and they definitely outnumber the realists here. In fact I've already observed several users that resort to immature namecalling and other puerile shenanigans when they've been proved wrong.

This is very perplexing, especially since we have one of the best current active QB's starting for our team, and another young italian stallion backing him up. Where's the love for Romo? How come we aren't considering him 'the future'. This kid wasn't even drafted and looked great last summer in Oxnard. The Answer saw him first hand and was blown away by his play. Why is Henson such a big deal? The guy is playing in the minor leagues for goodness sakes. And there's no guarantees he's even going to make in this league even as a 3rd stringer.

Grape, Cherry, Orange, Kiwi Lime, Tropical Fusion....Just how many flavors of Henson-ade is there?

Before your banning I usually just answered your nonsense with this, so it seems fitting under the new username:

The Answer said:
You could be right then if this injury is that serious. If this thing lingers and he's not 100% or able to play in camp than the front office might just opt to give Henson an injury settlement and waive him, or just place him on the IR for the season. Either way that wouldn't be good for Henson especially if he busts in TWO professional sports leagues. Can he play point guard?

Any knee injury is serious, especially for an NFL player. Not to mention that this is Henson 1st major injury.

Hostile states I was wrong on both counts.

The Counts being:

1)Knee Injuries are always serious for Professional Athletes (We're talking about injuries NOT BUMP and BRUISES

2)Henson's 1st Major injury

You said..."any knee injury is a serious."

Complete and utter nonsense. Some are not serious. Henson's might be. It also might not be. He hasn't had surgery nor are they talking about it. He even talked about playing this week until the Trainers nixed the idea. They were right, he was wrong. That's their job. There is no indication this will keep him out for 2006 at this point. This is merely Chicken Little nonsense trying to stir up crap. Sorry Charlie, some people are smarter than that. I've actually had knee injuries, I damn well know what I'm talking about. Not all of them are serious.

Find me a Doctor who says they are all serious and I'll confess to being owned. Until then you went overboard and I threw you an anvil. It's that simple.

All of this was in response to your question..."Ever had a knee injury?" As a matter of fact I have. At that point you should suspect I might actually know what I'm talking about. I've had fluid drained off my right knee at least 12 times. It hurts like hell but it isn't "serious."

The spin doctoring of "serious" and "major" is really foolish Charles.

Alright, I guess I deserve that. What I said was, some people believe that if you post enough smiley icons, around their post, they think somehow they are not being serious in their posts, while opposite is true. I.e. they are being nasty or insulting, but pretend not to be by virtue of their smiley icons in their posts.

Now as far as making sense to you, well I can't help there, but you can send me that money :D
