I'm sure he's a super nice guy. I would buy him a beer if I ever ran into him at a bar. I also know plenty of nice people. Doesn't mean they should be HC of the Dallas Cowboys. Just like I'm sure Jerry's a good guy. Deosn't make him a GM. He sucks at it. I rather have a hard coach than a team that falls apart at every possible turn. That's exactly what Garrett will be remembered for. A soft football team that had no balls at all.

Not saying thats why he should be fired, but it's a reason we don't like him.

If the comment wasn't related to job performance, then my question is why does it matter, and why does it cause dislike rather than just saying it is a personal preference to have a more demonstrative coach? I just don't see it's something to cause a person to dislike Garrett unless a person is looking for a reason to dislike him. Some coaches are very aggressive with refs, and some not very aggressive at all, and there are very successful coaches on both sides. It's really just a matter of which coaches are emotional and which are more business like. Plus it's plain false to say Garrett never complains or argues. He's not as demonstrative or as persistent as some, but he does do it. Besides, the call is going to stand either way.

In the end, most of the complaints people post here are just looking for a reason to have a personal dislike, which I don't get. There is nothing personal, or anything to hold a grudge with. Garrett works at his job, he just isn't good at it.

Guy considers himself some kind of trailblazer, judging by that look. How mistaken he was.

In general, I just dislike bad/immoral people. Garret is one apple that doesn't fall far from the tree. Don't be fooled by his fake, plastic, persona. He's been holding the franchise hostage with his coaching and knows it.

Being a Cowboys fan is an emotional investment for me. Games either make me happy or ruin my evening. Shouldn't be that way but it is. Having this fraud be the coach for this long without showing any improvement is enough for me to dislike him. I don't want to waste another season on his 'process', so everything he does annoys me

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I can't think of one single thing he does well. He's an offensive guy but refuses to take over play calling duties for the worst performing offense in the league. This telke me he doesn't feel his job is on the line yet. Linehan will most likely be gone and Garrett gets another year.

Hires kellen Moore to work with a young inexperienced QB.

Chases romo out of town for Prescott.

Ices his own kicker.

Claps even after we lose the game with a turnover on downs.

Plays not to lose instead of playing to win.

Refuses to make adjustments. Either too stupid or just insanely stubborn.

Does not hold anyone accountable for dumb penalties .

What's amazing is Dak sucked all camp and so did the backups. Teddy bridgewater was available but we didn't have any interest.

Our safeties are garbage and ET was available for a 2nd. But that was too steep for us. Instead we give up most likely a top five pick for cooper.

We are the most valuable franchise in all of sports but have the absolute worst coaches.

I used to think Jerry wanted to win but he is too stubborn to admit mistakes were made with Garrett and Dak/Romo. He would rather stay the course than mke a change admitting he was wrong.

I don't think he's a good coach. I have no hate for him. It's not a personal thing and there is no grudge or hard feelings against him. It's just a matter of thinking we can find someone else who is better equipped for the job.
I loathe him. Both as a coach and person. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

The difference is Earl Thomas contract runs out at the end of the season, and he is 6 years older than Cooper.
The difference is the two interceptions he got on us. He's rare

How much good would that be if he goes to the highest bidder after this season is over and or if age catches up to him in the middle of a $50 million contract. Besides, why isn't the difference the TD Cooper got for us, and all the future ones he will? That argument works both ways. And, speaking of those INT's, while I credit Thomas for being around the play, on both he got the INT because a teammate made a play and the ball bounced to him.

lol - I would call that highly irrational. He's just a guy trying to do his job who happens to not be good at his job. That's not unethical or immoral or being a jerk, it's just being in a little over his head.

I've been emotionally invested in this team for almost 50 years, and I get disliking him as a coach, but what I don't get is the dislike of him as a person. Unfortunately everyone isn't as good at a job as we would like. but that is a business thing, not a personal thing. Garrett hasn't attacked fans or been a jerk or failed to put in the effort or proven to be an immoral person. He's just a guy that's in over his head. Besides, Jerry is the one responsible for deciding when a change should be made. How can we blame Garrett for staying when Jerry hasn't asked him to leave?

I don't recall us ever getting those, and a 2 is better than a one in this scenario. Look, I don't blame Jerry for sending a 1 to the raiders for Amari, since I think the better QBs will come out in 2020, I'm just pointing out how the Jones' do business is why it's been more than 21 years since we've won anything important.

His suckage has played an integral part in ruining my lifelong favorite sports team. I didn't claim that what I felt was rational.

I would never buy a millionaire or a billionaire a beer, especially these two idiots. If I ran into either one at a bar, I'd leave that bar and find another.

I actually don't get the personal hate. JG was paid a ton of money and placed in a position for which he was not ready, or not qualified for. Almost no one would turn down 6 mil/season for a job offer, even if they knew they weren't qualified. We'd do what JG did, take the job and try.

This is not on him at all. Hate the true culprit.

wonder if we could get him a coaching guru, sort a like a qb guru that would fix all Jason's shortcomings.
